The Purpose of Our Study
- To show that the N.T. practice of worship in song is proof that the
final atonement for our sins has been paid.

instruments of music in worship is authorized.

All Priests were levites but not all levites were Priests. The Priest had to come through the lineage of Aaron. Only the levites played the instruments but after the sacrifices had ended and sacrifices were over - everyone sang their atonement had been paid. Therefore, Heb. 13:15 since Christ was once offered for all and is our atoning sacrifice therefore we sing.

• Christians SING praises to God because Jesus is our atonement
–Through His atonement we ARE a temple of priests (Rev. 1:5-6)
–We sing because God’s Spirit inhabits His temple (1 Cor. 3:16-17)
–Temple singing is proof that atonement has been paid (Heb. 13:15)
