God’s original Commandment and Covenant.

Exodus 12

Passover Haggadah

Exodus 12 is the account of the original Passover. God designates the months of the Year by the Passover to Moses, and the first of God’s festivals which He commanded Israel to keep. First it was told to them to pick out a Lamb without spot, a male, a year old, from the sheep or the goats and keep it until the 14th day of the month. Then the whole congregation of Israel was to kill their lambs at twilight, the beginning of the God’s day. God tells us how He looks at a day in Genesis 1:5. God’s days always start with the evening first-twilight, then goes from darkness to light the day. So Passover always starts the evening before the day. Sabbath is the same way.
The Deliverance from 400 years of slavery is Passover Haggadah which means telling of the deliverance. They celebrated first and then were delivered on the first Passover, each consecutive Passover the story was told of their deliverance.
If God would not have delivered us (Passover) we would still be slaves. Like the Israelites we as Christians would still be slaves to sin if it were not for our Passover Lamb - Jesus. So we are to tell or declare (Haggadah) of Jesus great deliverance of us on this Passover Day.

The Blood

Power and miracles of God, signs and wonders, starting with their deliverance from the Death Angel by applying the Blood of Lamb to the Lintels of their doors. The parting of the Red Sea, and their journey through on dry land while watching Yahweh swallow up the Egyptians in the Red Sea who were pursuing Israel. Then sustaining Israel in the Desert with Mana and the pouring forth of water from the rock miraculously to quench their thirst and sustain them. Likewise, Jesus has delivered us from Satan’s grasp and our own evil desires which we were dead in and purchased us with His Blood, covering us (our sin) to create us new (born again) leading us (by the Holy Spirit) and His word to newness of life continually, sustaining us and teaching us continually as long as we will follow Him, until we pass from this earth or He comes to bring judgement upon the world and rescue His people.
