While we were sinners Christ Died for us

Good evening everybody. Before I say anything else, I want you to think about this question: What is something valuable enough that it changes the way you live? Not something you just say. Not something you just show on the outside. I mean something so real that it changes how you live. Because what really matters to us shows up in what we are willing to surrender for.
Some people surrender their standards just to be liked. Some people surrender their peace just to keep a relationship. Some people surrender their identity just to match the room they are in. But when Jesus matters most, you stop living for the room and start living for Him.
Tonight is about this question: Is He worth it? Romans 5:8 says, “But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” That means Jesus did not wait until we cleaned ourselves up. He saw us at our worst, and still went to the cross. He took the punishment our sin deserves, died in our place, and rose again in victory. That is why forgiveness is possible. That is why new life is possible.
And that became personal for me. There was a time in my life when I had one foot in the world and one foot in the church. Eventually, my sin found me out. I was exposed. I had to face my failures. And when I left that moment, I felt like I had two options: run from God, or let Him change me. And I had to ask myself one question: Is He worth it? Is He worth my repentance? Is He worth my honesty? Is He worth surrendering the life I wanted for myself? And by the grace of God, the answer was yes. Not because I deserved grace, but because Jesus loved me enough to pursue me.
So tonight, after everything you have already heard, here is the question: What are you going to do with Jesus? Because when you see His sacrifice clearly, staying in the middle is not really an option. Some of you already know you have been trying to live divided — one foot with God, one foot in the world. But Jesus did not go to the cross so you could stay divided. He gave His life so you could be forgiven, made new, and brought from death to life. So I ask you tonight: Is He worth it? Is He worth your yes? Is He worth your surrender? Is He worth turning from the thing that keeps pulling you away from Him? I am telling you tonight — He is. So do not run. Do not hide. Come to Jesus. Trust Jesus. Surrender to Jesus. Because the question is not whether He has proven His love. The cross already settled that. The question is: Is He worth it? Let me hand it over to Seth.
