You and I are needed!!!

(NKJV) 3 And if anyone says to you, 'Why are you doing this?' say, 'The Lord has need of it,' and immediately he will send it here."
NEEDED!
(NKJV) 3 And if anyone says to you, 'Why are you doing this?' say, 'The Lord has need of it,' and immediately he will send it here."
GOD NEEDS US TO FORGIVE OURSELVES
- For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
- In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
GOD NEEDS US TO HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH US
- Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
- Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. [5] I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same brength forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
- For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."
- For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
GOD NEEDS US TO BE FAITHFUL TO HIM
- But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and a gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.
- Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. [2] Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
GOD NEEDS US FOREVER
-- Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
the Lord hath need of him…How many of us here are needed by the Lord? Really none us, yet all of us. God is everything - God is self-sufficient and has need of nothing. Yet he chose each of us to spread the Gospel. He tells us that in – to go. However, just like Jesus needed the colt to fulfill the prophecies about Palm Sunday, God has chosen to need us.
The last few weeks I’ve ask you about being in unity – to get to the point of what’s important – to be important….to come together for a much greater good than just here…there are lost people in this world….Easter is coming….the very point of the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior.
Christ died for the Lost – we’ve come together for a purpose and a need – for those that are lost and going to Hell without a Savior. Easter reminds us of that need. – you and I are needed.
So I ask do you believe that?
GOD NEEDS US TO FORGIVE US – because he already has.
Sometimes in our lives we feel like we aren’t adequate…. God couldn’t possibly use us because of everything we’ve done and continue to do in our lives – but God tells us every sin will be forgiven and cast it as far as the east is from the west – how far is that? Can you fathom that distance – no – because we can’t comprehend the fact that God can forgive us when we’ve done wrong, but God does – he forgives that’s his very nature.
Before God can ever use us – we have to understand the following verses:
- For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
- In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
If we don’t believe those verses – we don’t believe any of this – no need for church – no need for prayer – no need for us to be good – no need for Salvation – no need for a God – no need for a Savior…..because we don’t need to be saved…and if we don’t need to be saved then sadly – no one else does either.
God needs us to understand his plan is for us to share the gospel – that is the plan and we are the need he has.
GOD NEEDS US TO HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH US
I love church – it’s difficult at times, but so is life – so is our jobs (and we love them sometimes) – are relationships are difficult at times, but are they worth the time to spent trying to make them work? There is a reason for church – to come together from different backgrounds – different ideas – but one common purpose. But I believe one of the most wonderful purpose is to fellowship and worship with our Heavenly Father. Have you came to today to do that?
In those verses we find a God that desires us to fellowship with him….Why? The same way we do our own children. Even though I know they drive us crazy – we love them… God isn’t any different – he loves us the same….just think he made us to want fellowship with our children – he made us have that same desire with him, where do you think it came from - because he wants us to have fellowship with him.
The world is and will always be searching for that Love of Christ – that’s the fellowship we have or should have. To come together in love and share that with others. Easter is coming!!!
GOD NEEDS US TO BE FAITHFUL TO HIM
The topic of faith is important in all religious systems. But exactly what is faith? I think the biblical definition comes from which says, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” It is simply believing in something that can’t be seen. There are many passages throughout the Bible text that deal with faith and faithfulness. We are called to be faithful and people of faith.
- But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and a gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.
- Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. [2] Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
God is faithful – so must we be faithful? We can’t expect God to be faithful to us if we aren’t going to be faithful to him – yet that’s exactly what we do…

I had someone ask me this last week – why does God send people to hell? What would your answer be – but this is what I said….God doesn’t send anyone to hell – it’s a choice we make – we make a choice….just like this church we make choices that effect those around us to help them with that choice to follow him or not. Forever is a long time – besides the Trinity – who does your forever include….Easter’s Coming!!!
