1 I will extol thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, And hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
2 O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
3 O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: Thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
4 Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, And give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Joy Is Coming
Joy Is Coming
Life is full of seasons.
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Every trial is for a season.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
“For a season” means “for a little while”.
God shortens the seasons of heaviness, making them just long enough to do us good, just enough weeping to produce fruit, but short enough we don’t give up hope.
28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.
20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
The Laodicean age is a short age.
The seventh age (a very short age) gathers up into itself for one quick work, all the evil of every age, and yet all the reality of Pentecost. Once the Philadelphian Age has about run its course, the Laodicean Age quickly comes in, bringing both the tares and the wheat to harvest, CAB-08 — 8 - The Philadelphian Church Age
Jesus spoke this to the Philadelphian church age:
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
It is to this age that Jesus says, “I come QUICKLY,” verse 11. That makes the last age a very short one. Laodicea is the age of the quick work. It is cut short. CAB-08 — 8 - The Philadelphian Church Age
Now the age in which we are living is going to be a very short one. Events are going to transpire very rapidly. CAB-09 — 9 - The Laodicean Church Age
This Laodicean Age ends in a blackout of the Word, thereby causing a departure of the Lord from the midst. He stands outside calling to His own who follow Him by obedience to the Word. After a short and powerful demonstration of the Spirit this little hunted and persecuted group will go to be with Jesus. CAB-09 — 9 - The Laodicean Church Age
He has cut the days short. How did He do that?
It’s been 60 plus years since Bro. Branham said those things.
God will build His Church upon the foundation of Jesus Christ, and that’s the Bible. Outside of that, all other grounds is sinking sands. God doesn’t change. His nature doesn’t change.
He made women different from men, and men different from women. He dressed them different, and wants them to stay that way. See? Women wants to look like men, and men wants to look like women. Oh, my! Such a perversion!
And the whole thing, look like it’s got a grip on the people, and you can’t change it. Looks like a great monster, a great blackness; if you understand what I’m speaking of, in the spirit.
A monster has got them grabbed, and they just can’t get away from it; too much Hollywood, too much television, too much other nonsense. Everything we got is polluted. No wonder, “If the work isn’t cut short, for the Elected sake, there will be no flesh saved.” 64-0321E — The Voice Of The Sign
Enoch’s father lived 962 years, his son Methuselah lived 969 years, but Enoch’s age was cut short.
23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
Though He may not give me the Power to walk like Enoch and not have to die, but just take an afternoon’s walk and go Home with Him; but, God, I do believe that it will happen, because I know there is to be a Rapture in the last day, and the work is to be cut short.
And, Father, so says our calendar, thirty-six more years and the work will be over, and You’ll have to come sometime within that or there’ll be no flesh saved.
And then we’re told, by the chronologists and the people who search such things, that we are absolutely advanced many, many years from that, many years on up there; tell us, by the calendars, that we are way up further than that; maybe there’s only fifteen or twenty years left.
I don’t know, Father. But I know, even according to our calendar, we’re almost there.
(Bro. Branham talks about the evil of the age and assassinations)
Help us, O God, especially Your Church, them that’s baptized into that mystical Body of Christ. Which, “It’s the Spirit that quickeneth,” You said. And as the Son of man ascended up, so shall His Body ascend up.
And He is the Head; His Church is the Body. O God, it’s the Head that guides the Body. Let the Headship of the Word guide the Body of Christ. And may I be part of that Body, Lord. 63-1124E — Three Kinds Of Believers
So I’ve watched for something. Has it slipped by us in humility and we’ve missed it? Is it gone and the church is left in her sins? If that be so, then it’s later than you think. If not, then there’s coming one with a Message that’s straight on the Bible, and quick work will circle the earth.
The seeds will go in newspapers, reading material, until every predestinated Seed of God has heard It. None of them will come unless the Father has drawed them, and every one the Father has drawed will hear It and come. That’ll be, the predestinated Seed will hear the Word. 62-0527 — Questions And Answers
This is the age of the short work.
1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
Time no longer literally means “no more delay”
Notice Revelation 10:1 to 7, all the mysteries are to be revealed to the Bride, by the messenger of the Laodicea Church. Has anybody got a Revised Version Bible? If you have, you’ll notice there where it said, “the angel,” it’s in parenthesis it says, “the eagle.” The messenger to the Laodicea Church, see, Revelation 10:1 to 7.
And he said that this…in that day that he seen Him come down, and he eat up the little book. And there was…“He put one foot on land, and one on the sea, and swore by Him that lives, and ever and ever, that, ‘Time shall be no more.’”
And when He did, Seven Thunders uttered their voices. And when the Seven Thunders uttered their voices, John said he was about to write. And He said, “Don’t write It.” And he sealed It.
Now, someone said, “Well, that Seven Seals, then, Brother Branham, that will be revealed in the last days, some great mystery how we get closer to God?” No, sir, it can’t be.
“Whosoever shall take one Word from this Bible, or add one word to It, his part will be taken, the Book of Life.” What it is, is a revelation on what has been missed back there, to bring.
It’s already wrote Here. It’s in Here. It’s to reveal what already has been written. See? Cause, you can’t add one thing to It, or take one Word from It.
This is the complete revelation of Jesus Christ. And the Seven Seals had the mysteries hid, of what It all was; and is supposed to open It in the last day, at the Laodicean age, at the end of time. Thanks be to God!
That finishes the Message to the Church. That finishes It. When they look back and see what has been, and see where it’s all brought up to, that finishes It, the age of the Church. 64-0719M — The Feast Of The Trumpets
The book has been opened, the days have been shortened. Weeping has endured for the night, but Joy is coming.
What’s happened upon Mount Sunset? God confirming His Word. That’s what all this noise is about. Notice, it’s God fulfilling His promised Word again, of Revelation 10:1 to 7, “And in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel’s Message, the mystery of God should be finished.”
The hidden mystery of Revelation 10:1 to 7, the last Message to the last church age. Fulfills exactly, in this age, Saint Luke 17:30, “The day when the Son of man shall be revealed.” 65-0725E — What Is The Attraction On The Mountain?
And the God of Heaven promised the evening time would have evening Lights. Three years ago this mystery was a prophecy, “What time is it, Sir?” But now it’s history. It’s passed. The promise is fulfilled.
What time is it, sir, and what’s this attraction? God fulfilling His Word! He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. 65-0725E — What Is The Attraction On The Mountain?
There will come a day when the Seventh Seal comes to its completion, the dead in Christ raise first, the trumpet of God will sound, the mystery of going will be complete, but time has already been shortened for the elect.
We have received His Word, and our womb has been closed.
And remember, we are now, as His Bride, pregnated with His Spirit. Oh, my! The Church, bearing children, see, pregnated by His Spirit with His Name; bearing His Name, bearing His Life; bringing forth the signs of His Life, evident with the preeminences, evidence of His resurrection; showing that He is not dead, but alive for evermore.
This is Eternal Life, and vindicated, vindicates to the world that we are alive in Him. Whew!
How do you know, ’cause you’re a church member? Because, Christ is living through you, so pregnated with His Spirit that you’re a prisoner to anything else. You’re confined, oh, my, to the Gospel, confined to the Word, and all the children that you can bring forth is that, ’cause you’re a prisoner.
You can’t commit adultery; you’re already pregnated. Glory! He can’t take a hold. The womb of life is closed to anything else. You’re already His, by predestination. That Seed has come to Life; no world can get in.
Christ, and His alone, already finished. The Seed was there. The Seed was, already. When was It put there? “Before the foundation of the world, has predestinated us unto Eternal Life.” And as soon as the Life-giving flow, that Seed laying there…
Other seeds that just would come in, wouldn’t take hold, just couldn’t do it, like. But when that Seed come in, quickly it stopped up the womb; all the rest of the seed was drove out, see, like that.
And you become a prisoner, surrounded, in Christ. Christ in you, His Life bringing forth His evidence, His signs. Oh, my, my, my! Look, bringing His signs of Life as a evident of His resurrection, proving to the world that Eternal Life, vindicates to the world that we’re alive in Him. 63-0728 — Christ Is The Mystery Of God Revealed
You have entered into an invisible union with Christ. Joy is coming.
If time has been cut short, why am I still struggling?
We see this age that we’re living in. It’s one of the grandest ages of all ages. This Laodicea Church Age is the grandest of all the church ages, because it’s the ending of time and the blending of Eternity. 63-0825M - "How Can I Overcome?"
As we realize that we’re closing the time, time is running out. It’s blending in with Eternity. And we’re at the West Coast. And as civilization has traveled, East to the West, so has the Gospel traveled with it. And now there is no place to go but back East again. It’s completed. 65-0117 - "A Paradox"
As time is blending and the days are shortened, we groan within ourselves.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
The weeping we endure now is planting something in us that we will reap one day.
6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
Then as we see Him, and we will not be as we are now. We’ll know how to love Him more. We’ll not stand back with a little fear; because, we’ll be like Him. We…He’ll be more of a relative to us than He is now. We’ll understand Him better.
Because, we’re so far away, in the mortal bodies; then we’ll have a body like His glorious body. We’ll know how to worship Him. And when we see what the Presence of His Being has done to us, changed us, the old back young, all the deformed straightened out, oh, we’ll understand then why His power healed us.
The questions that’s been in our minds, “How can He do it? What would this?” Somehow, mysteriously, they’ll all fade away. The knots that’s been tied in the back of our minds, “Will it be this? How could it be?”
Somehow, or another, majestic fingers will just untangle, unravel those knots, and it’ll all fade into the one big crown of love. 59-0510M — Mother's Day
Conclusion
Conclusion
Joy is coming.
If you are that little weak link that has separated this great family reunion at that Day, may the God of Heaven, this morning, somehow in a mysterious way, unravel those little knots that’s tied in your mind, and reveal to you the love that He has for you, and may you come sweetly to serve Him. 59-0510M — Mother's Day
