The Good Seed

Matthew 13

English Standard Version Chapter 13

He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field, 25 but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. 26 So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also. 27 And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him, ‘Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ So the servants said to him, ‘Then do you want us to go and gather them?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, “Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.” ’ ”

The Parable of the Weeds Explained

36 Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.” 37 He answered, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. 40 Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, 42 and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

Hallelujah Glory to God

We see many things here , many lessons , but Jesus is giving an example of the last day of How judgement will be .

This is the story of the last day , of How God will judge the world .

Jesus is going through town and town, and He is teaching about the kingdom of God.

He is walking from place to place and He is teaching his disciples as well as the community what the

kingdom of God Consist off . What the Kingdom of God is like .

This is a beautiful story because it is so simple, to understand. You have two people, one serves the Lord Is a light to the world, leads by example,

Has fruit that leads to eternal life, Jesus said you will know them by thier fruits, which means you look at thier life and you will see that the things that they do contribute to the kingdom of God , They put the will of God first before thier own desire. You see the Lord blessing them in all that they do. If they do have a hardship, you see them trust God no matter the circumstance. They except thier mistakes and failures and bring before the Lord , they Trust Jesus in all things, and most importantly there is a constant change happening within them . They are growing in the Lord, not in knowledge but in character and Integrity.

They fall but they rise up, seek forgiveness from the Lord, and they are fast to repent . They dont make excuses they do and Trust the Lord at His Word

They are also the ones that love thier brothers as Christ has loved them.

They go from being a seed to a tree that feeds thousands and thousands

There is joy in the heart as they wait patiently for the return of the Lord

Then theres the seed the seed that the enemy planted at night. You notice that right .

At night, he plants at night , when no one is watching and everyone is asleep.

Thats how the enemy works , he wants you to hide what you are doing.

The devil wants you to keep it a secret thats why gossiping is never done in front of anyone its always done where no one else can hear

it sounds like this did you hear what brother hector did along time ago, he stole , and he did drugs , I think he still that same person .

I dont agree with what the pastor said but im gonna tell everyone but him.

Thier porpose is thier own, how they look , how people view them. What people think about them.

Thier more worried about what man thinks and not what God thinks . They want to be seen by man and not by God .

Why am I talking about all of this

Because today this verse came true in my life .

Tell them about the planting and tearing out the weeds

This messege started because I was preparing and praying and getting ready for today and

I like to take off as much time as I can the day of sharing a messege , and I saw this , and I learned alot from it , so I decided to worship and to pull all the weeds out and the grass that was no good in this garden or this little landscape that was here.

The more I looked at it the more I realized that I could not tell the good apart from the bad, that Is I pulled on the bad it also pulled and the good came out with the bad . I realized that what the Lord said when asked if the worked should go and gather them up. THat what Jesus said was true .

No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them

Youth we are called to be different , and I realized that instead of Us looking more like the Kingdom men and woman that Jesus is calling us to be. We look more like the world . The church in America looks like the world. The Church talks speaks and acts like the world.

Think about it , what makes you different then the world.

You date just like the world does, the bible tells you not to be unequally yoked, yet you do as you please,

The Lord tells you to honor your mother and father and you dont agree with what they tell you.

The Lord tells you to avoid irreverent babble but you still listen to the same music the world does. That talks about drugs, sex, sadness, hate, loving yourself.

Your quinceneras look just like the world , no difference.

So whats happening guys and whats our solution.

Church is a hobby then a way of Life

Today all over the world people celebrate good friday, the dramas associated with good friday, on univision they play Jesus carrrying a cross. They celebrate this weekend, and some how it has an appearance of Holiness, and somehow during this one time of the year we celebrate the Lord .

WHen we should celebrate Him everyday, saturday and sunday we will celebrate the risen Lord , and come sunday afternoon, the easter bunny and eggs show up at our doorsteps.

What does it profit a man to gain the world but lose his soul,

What is our answer, what can we do . We must begin it the cross for that is where it began , we must look at the cross for it is where it started.

and most importantly we must look at the resurrection of Jesus Christ , Our victory over sin and our victory to live the life that Jesus calls us to live as the good seed is understanding . That Jesus conquered death, and alive . Because He LIVES WE also live, and can be the good seed.

Eternity has met earth at the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

because he resurrected there is hope in this world to walk in power throught the Holy spirit to make His kingdom known

You can start over , and theres only one way to start new and that begins asking Jesus to forgive you, to believe that He rose on the third day , and through faith in Him we have everlasting Life
