Some see Revelation as future-looking, some as past-looking, some as a metaphor

Typically, the marriage supper celebrates the arrival of the bride, but here, it is the Bridegroom who is celebrated. We, as the bride, join in the celebration, but it ain’t about us: it’s about Jesus!

The book of Revelation is about this. In fact, the proper title for the book is The Revelation of Jesus
Christ.
Jesus’ exaltation is the point of the Marriage Supper, Revelation, and Creation itself
