Son of God
Song: Jesus, Son of God
Reading: A few weeks ago, we learned that Jesus is the Son of God.
In the passage we just read, God Himself claims Jesus as His Son, and this fact alone shows that He is worthy of our trust.
Who else has been sent from Heaven by God with such a task as dying a death he or she didn’t deserve?
Who else can know God like a Son knows His Father?
Who else can so accurately show us who God is?
As we sing this next song, think about this question.
Is Jesus high enough in your life that people see God when they see you?
Teacher
Will Follow
Reading: We also learned that Jesus is a Rabbi, a teacher.
In the Jewish culture, the most faithful followers of a rabbi were always recognized by how much they resembled their rabbi.
The same can be said of us as we seek to follow Jesus.
Followers of Jesus look like Jesus.
Do you look like Jesus is your teacher?
To sing this next song requires you to make a commitment to follow Jesus.
See this song as a prayer between you and God.
Healer
Song: Healing is In Your Hands
Reading:
Reading: There is so much to be healed from in this world.
Physical ailments.
Broken Relationships.
Depression.
Lusts.
Anger.
Hatred.
Sins.
Jesus is the only One who can heal the deep brokenness that comes from sin.
Is He your healer?
When your life is eclipsed by the darkness of sin, do you depend on the Healer to heal you of those wounds?
Savior
Song: O Come to the Altar
Scripture:
Reading:
Reading: Everyone is lost and purpose-less without a savior.
Some people find direction and purpose in relationships.
Others find it in substances like drugs and alcohol.
Some find it in legalism.
None of these things can be a real savior.
They only satisfy us for a short time, then we look for something or someone else to be our savior.
Jesus is the only one fit to be our Savior forever.
He is the only one who can truly save us from our sins.
He was sent here to seek and save the lost, you and me.
Will you come to Him today?
As we sing this song, several people will be standing at the back ready to talk to you about your relationship with God.
Don’t miss this opportunity to get things right with your relationship with Him today.
High Priest
Song: This Glorious Grace
-17
Reading: We are in desperate need of Someone to connect us to God.
Because of our sin, we have no way of being in His presence, even for a second.
We need a High Priest, and we have one in Jesus.
He is the only one qualified because He was called by God and also became man so that He could sympathize with our own weaknesses.
Jesus knows and understands God, and Jesus knows and understands you.
It is by God’s grace through work and ministry of Jesus, that we can be in right relationship with Him.
Let’s marvel at this grace as we sing together.
King
Song: Eternal King
Scripture:
Reading:
Revelation 19:11-16
Reading: It is only fitting to end this series of the titles of Jesus on King.
Jesus is Lord.
In fact, He is King of Kings.
No one rules Him.
No one tells Him what to do.
Everyone, whether now or in the future, will submit to His Lordship over all of creation.
There is no in between.
