God’s Wrath Had to Be Satisfied

1. Because of the original sin of our first parents, Adam and Eve, we are born into a sinful nature.

What is Sin?

What is Sin?

Sin - any failure to conform to the moral law of God in act, attitude or nature. Not only actions, but attitudes contrary to the attitudes God requires of us.

He was the propitiation for our sins. (A sacrifice that bears God’s wrath so that God becomes favorable towards us.)

2. Christ actually became sin. The sins of the world were imputed to Him and His righteousness was imputed to us.
