Introduction

We are going to be looking into God’s Word for help in wisdom in raising up our children in the right and best way.

Our time together is not about quick fixes to make our personal lives as parents more convenient or less embarrassing due to misbehavior in public.

It is not about making things easier, which it can, but it’s about making things more fruitful in our lives and our children’s lives.

We want fruitfulness over convenience.

Recognize that good fruit takes time and effort.

As parents we need to be willing to sacrifice that which is convenient and easy for that which is fruitful.

Again, remember this study is not about convenience and quick fixes, but fruitfulness.

God’s Command

We need to recognize it for ourselves, but as we will see we are not only responsible for fulfilling our “calling” but also responsible to prepare our children to fulfill theirs.

God’s Command

The purpose of this “class” is to learn the “how” of fulfilling God’s commands.

Teach them diligently, frequently, and continually ( NKJV)

We can’t teach what we don’t know.
