He is risen

Matthew
Matthew 28:1–10 NIV
After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.” So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”

“This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord Almighty.
This is the signal of Christ’s victory. When the heavens rejoiced, the earth also might be glad. God did not abandon his Son now, he sent angel to attend his Son.
Soldiers are to impose their position to make men fear and to not dare to stand with Government. God make solder fear and frightening
Psalm 9:20 NIV
Strike them with terror, Lord; let the nations know they are only mortal.
V 5 — Encourages them against their fears — 2 things — To confirm of their faith and touching Christ’s resurrection:

Christ made appointment with the disciples. “”Go, tell my brethren, that thy must prepare for a journey into Galilee, and there they shall see me.” If there be any communion between our souls and Christ, it is he that appoints the meeting, and he will observe the appointment.
John 20:17 NIV

All the children of God were thereby declared to e his brethren. Being the first-begotten from the dead, he is become the First-born among many brethren, even of all that are planted together in the likeness of his resurrection.
What do I want to talk about in this message? What is the message says? How do I repent and confess of my sins? What am I going to pray about this message so hearts can change?
So what is the purpose, point of this message that I can go home and live?
What is the purpose that I should spend time here and not wasted my time coming back but go home rejoicing and willing to come back without pastor inviting?
What is important of the message that I need to put church first and fishing or job or other events after church?
This message is the bone and blood line of Christianity. It is not about good life, speak good word, good marriage, good moral ethic, but it is about grace and love of God.
Introduction: Greetings to all coming — today All Christians worship and praising God. The message we shared to day is the root and the life blood of Christianity. This is the main message the rooted deep in our heart that build us to be willing to come and to worship and to let other things wait but we prioritized our worship life and Christ first in our home and life. This message give us an sure anchor in life. We change to obey Christ rather than men because he paid for our sins and he alone in charge of our lives and our families.
Today, let us remember those who sleep in Christ and those who are still breathing without Christ. Let us take heart and be diligently share the message to our love ones and our friends so that they can be saved.

Dateline Jerusalem—On the eve of the annual celebration of the resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, the 1 million inhabitants of this city were shocked by the announcement that a body, identified as that of Jesus, was found in a long-neglected tomb just outside the boundary of the city. Rumors had been circulating the last week that a very important discovery was about to be announced. The news, however, far outstrips all of our wildest guesses. The initial reaction of Christians here and around the world has been one of astonishment, bewilderment, and defensive disbelief. We will have to wait and see just what effect this discovery will have on the 2,000-year-old religion. To the mind of this unbelieving writer, it appears that Christianity will have to take its place on the same level with the other religions of the world. No longer can its followers claim that, unlike other religions, the tomb of its founder is empty. Evidently a 2,000-year-old lie has come to an end.

Paul states that IF the above were true, your faith in Christ is worthless and you are still under the curse of your sins. Has your mind and heart grasped the eternal significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ?1134

General Wellington commanded the victorious forces at the great battle of Waterloo that effectively ended the Napoleonic Wars. The story has been told that when the battle was over, Wellington sent the great news of his victory to England. A series of stations, one within sight of the next, had been established to send code messages between England and the continent. The message to be sent was “Wellington defeated Napoleon at Waterloo.” Meanwhile a fog set in and interrupted the message sending. As a result, people only saw news of “Wellington defeated—” Later, the fog cleared and the full message continued, which was quite different from the outcome that the people originally thought had happened!

The same is true today. When many look at what happened on Good Friday, the death of Christ, they see only “defeat.” Yet, on Easter, at the Resurrection, God’s message was completed. The resurrection spelled “victory.”1136

Hugh Schonfield’s Passover Plot is one of the literary attempts to explain away the events of the crucifixion and the resurrection. But it, like all the others, relies on that ancient lie circulated in the very first century by the soldiers who were paid to say that the friends of Jesus had come and stolen his body away. But no one has ever been able to explain how that could happen.1137

The originator of a new religion came to the great French diplomat statesman Charles Maurice de Talleyrand-Périgord and complained that he could not make any converts. “What would you suggest I do?” he asked.

“I should recommend,” said Talleyrand, “that you get yourself crucified, and then die, but be sure to rise again the third day.”1138

Dear friends in Christ:
Introduction:
The news is very critical these days. Two weeks now, USA bomb Syria and Afghanistan. Most of us do not know and do not care but war could be happening at any moment. Now, N. Korea is testing their military missiles and threat that if America interfering their test, they will respond back and that will be War between South Korea, America against N. Korea. This is a fair warning from N. Korea that all foreigner must get out of S. Korea now. How many people care and think about his news? Not too many people concern about this. It could be fake news and it could be real. But most people don’t care unless someone is telling them and it is up to them to do with the news.
Today is a different News. A good tiding news for your souls. This is the main message and the core and root of our Christian faith. It is the one and only message that empowered us to live and to do the Lord’s well daily.
The news for all of us today is “He is risen/ Nws Sawv Ciasia lawm.”
I. This is a good tiding, go and tell .
When the rest day is over. Jesus is in the grave for 36-38 hours now. He is dead and the disciples were devastating and fear. The ladies, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary got their spices and traveled to the grave. Their purpose is to take care the Lord’s body for the last time. Fear, of course they may have but we also know that many women are stronger than many men too. As I grew up, I see most women prepared clothing and dress up their love ones when they die. I see many woman went to the grave and cry and cry. I see many women went to the farm by themselves because they have to over come their fear. Women are not fearful like most of us think. Women will not die without men. Women can over come and can do many things.
The ladies when to the grave.
When Jesus about to died, he cried to his Father, why have you abandon me. Now, his Father is no longer abandon but love and care for him. The Father sent angels to attend Jesus. The Lord shake the earth and heaven. The Lord is great.
Haggai 2:6–7 NIV
“This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord Almighty.
Psalm 9:6 NIV
Endless ruin has overtaken my enemies, you have uprooted their cities; even the memory of them has perished.

II. God made appointment to meet each one of us. He will check his schedule and make sure it is open for you. Today it is up to you to look at the
Psalm 2:11 NIV
Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling.
The Angel roll out the stone. He tell them that Jesus is risen. He just did what he had told you. He is no longer here. God and tell his disciples.
Fear and trembling but with joy. The one who give is happier than the one who received. The Lord is great and the Lord is love. He wants you and me to know that he is alive and he live.
How are we going to do with this news?
How are we going to share this news?
You believe it or not, it is up to you.
2 Kings 2:9 NIV
When they had crossed, Elijah said to Elisha, “Tell me, what can I do for you before I am taken from you?” “Let me inherit a double portion of your spirit,” Elisha replied.
2 Kings 7:9 NIV
Then they said to each other, “What we’re doing is not right. This is a day of good news and we are keeping it to ourselves. If we wait until daylight, punishment will overtake us. Let’s go at once and report this to the royal palace.”
The reason we shared the news to you because it is for your soul. It is for the benefit of your life now and to have peace and joy now. When the day come, you will not be fear but meet Christ face to face.
2 Kings 2:99
People are keeping cash now, smoke their meat and keep their water in the basement now. Many are doing the very basic thing to prepare in case war is broke out between nations. What about your soul? Have you prepare and know that your souls is redeem by Christ. Believe to day if you hear his voice.
Jesus want to make sure you hear his appointment. He tell the angel to annnounce to the ladies to tell the disciples. Jesus himself make sure the discile know aobut the appointment.
Do you know that you have an appointment to meet Jesus Christ too. Judgement day is at the corner and he wants to make sure everyone know that an appointment is set for you.
II. God made appointment to meet each one of us. He will check his schedule and make sure it is open for you. Today it is up to you to look at the (Angel made appointment and Jesus confirmed his appointment)
Matthew 28:19–20 NIV
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Jesus set an appointment and he did what he can. He asked all his followers to share the appointment that God is ready to meet you. He is our soul maker and he is ready to meet us.
If we are not ready, when he comes, it is a horrible moment.
So, brothers and sisters — every time life remind you of hardship. Remember your appointment with Jesus Christ. When face dead end, you know that you still have an appointment with God soon. All the problem that you face today, God will take care so that when you meet him you will have time to explain your delay or problem.
Do not let your problems and selfish life become a stumbing block so that your appoint ment with God is not kept.
Yes, so much things in this world that lead us not to remember our appointment with Go.
Let us come back to the Word of God and be reminded that our appointment is near. Let our brothers and sisters remind us that we have an appointment. Let the dead one and love ones’ death remind us that we have an appointment with God. Let a prayer, a problem, a child, a Sunday school, a news, a sin and a Cross remind that we have an appointment with God.
Today, let us know that there are many news and a lot of them are fake. There are so many news about Christ but false teacher try to share what is not truth from Bible. Let us know for sure that HE IS RISEN, this news is not fake and it is real. Let us share this news to our heart and love one. Let us know that Jesus Christ made an appointment with each of us and he keep his appointment. Make sure that you know so you prepare to meet him. No matter what, you will meet him but you better know what he wants to see in your heart. Faith with good deeds. Amen.
