Sharing Jesus - Walking Evangelism
Sharing Jesus - Walking Evangelism
Now there are a lot of good evangelism and short Gospel techniques out there.
Our focus is not lifestyle or relational in this class - though if we have time we can touch on that.
The Share Jesus Without Fear edition of the KJV NT - is still very useable and still tracks. Even if you don’t do the first part.
The goal of street evangelism to share a concise Gospel with as many as we can wherever we are. Street events, fishing areas, parks, etc.
Can I pray for you?
Can I pray for someone in your family, etc.
If you could have a miracle from God what would you ask for?
write it down to share with fellowship
pray (keep simple)
No matter what, ask if someone has shared the gospel with them and when it comes toletting them read the scripture.
Be aware that some folks have trouble reading. You can help them if they struggle
ask them what it says to them. don’t tell them.
At the end, ask if they would like to ABC (Admit, Believe, Confess)
If they don’t have time, or refuse either, offer a tract.
pass out tracts to class
Writing references in your bible
Inside jacket - write Romans 3:23 thats your starting verse
Romans 3:23 “ for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
as they read it ask, “what does this text say to you?”
Highlight the text. Now at the top of the page, you want to note the next reference Ro 6:23 - where if someone else is holding the bible, you can read it (upside down) teach yourself how to turn while looking at it upside down.
Romans 6:23 “ For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Highlight then circle sin/death and underline through or in (depends translation).
as they read it ask, “what does this text say to you?”
Next Jon 3:3
John 3:3 “ Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.””
Even catholics needs to be born again. Same baptists, methodists, etc.
highlight ref and write margin - a cross and “Why Jesus Came to Die”
as they read it ask, “what does this text say to you?”
next john 14:6
John 14:6 “ Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

as they read it ask, “what does this text say to you?”
next Rom 10:9-11
Romans 10:9–11 “ that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.””
highlight txt
as they read it ask, “what does this text say to you?”
next 2Co 5:15
2 Corinthians 5:15 “ and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.”
highlight text
as they read it ask, “what does this text say to you?”
next John 14:23
John 14:23 “ Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.”

as they read it ask, “what does this text say to you?”
Now comes the 64 dollar question, has this helped you see what God expects? Would you like to accept Jesus as your savior today?
If they say no, offer to pray again, leave with a tract and write down name and prayer for them.
