Law Month

Leading up to Pentecost.

What does God want from me?

In this relationship of love we have a role?
You do and he does.
Let’s look at his side of this covenant/agreement. Then determine what would measure up.
Deuteronomy 28:10–12 NKJV
10 Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they shall be afraid of you. 11 And the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. 12 The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.
That is what we get here on earth?

What do we undertake to give in return?

Go to church?

Offering?

Just believe?

Deuteronomy 28:9 NKJV
9 “The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, just as He has sworn to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways.
Deuteronomy 28:13 NKJV
13 And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.

But, Brother Paton, that is Old Testament. That’s for the Jews, not for us.

Law is for Israelites, not just Jews. Two Kingdoms. Jesus was a Jew, coz he is from Judeah, Tribe of Juda.
Judea is the Van der Merwe of the Afrikaners. Does it mean Botha is not an Afrikaner? Jews just one part of Israel.
So, this applies to israel. And we are grafted into Israel.
Matthew 5:17–19 NKJV
17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 28:19–20 NKJV
19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
That is only the First Book of the New Testament, Not enough..
Let’s go to the Last,
Revelation 14:12 NKJV
12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
1 John 2:4–6 NKJV
4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

The greatest Practical Joke in History.

Do you want more? Or was Jesus Joking when he said forever, Jesus is a comedian to you, a clown? Who, for 2000 years and his entire life here on earth, lived and Walked according to the COmmandments, yet you believe that after he died, he said “Psyc”
People now believe that:
When he said forever, he actually meant until next year.
When he said walk as I walk in Deut, he didn’t mean live a life like Jesus did. He meant do whatever you want, just believe in me, but dont do as I do?
When he says something that makes things easier for you, you take him seriously. When he says something that challenges you, you say he was exagerrating, joking, or talking about someone else.
God wants you to follow him.

He promises yoou everything and only wants a DIME from you.

1. Dominion. Act as owner.
2. Improve you and yours from Tohoo VA vohoo to the Kingdom. Develop it in his name,. He had given this talent and you must not bury it.
3. Multiply
4. Emulate and obey
