Luke 9:62

And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Staying on track is aligning one's life (from your thoughts, words, and actions) with the will, commands, and character of God.

HOW DO I STAY ON TRACK

1. Don't look back: Isa 43:18-19, 2 Cor 5:17, Pro 4:18, don't look back at sinful circumstances with fondness or like the good old days.

2. Do away with any form of distraction: Heb 12:1-3, Phi 3:13-14; they distract you from the journey to eternal life.

3. Avoid bitterness: Eph 4:31, Heb 12:15

4. Look for mentors and encouragers: Faithful people in your life who inspire you to keep running the race, keep building your life. Eccl 4:9-10
