11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
12 We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you,
13 and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.
14 And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.
Idle: deviating from the prescribed order or rule - Used in Greek society of those who did not show up for work.
6 Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us.
7 For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, because we were not idle when we were with you,
8 nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but with toil and labor we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you.
9 It was not because we do not have that right, but to give you in ourselves an example to imitate.
10 For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.
11 For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies.
Busybodies: used apparently of a person officiously inquisitive about other's affairs.
There is a difference in what Paul is saying here about working night and day; verses what we say today.
How are you doing? Man I have been so busy……..
Side note I believe many of us are extremely tired because we are busy not accomplishing anything good.
Notice the first word in BUSYbody.
BUSYbody
14 And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.
Encourage: to speak to, address one, whether by way of admonition and incentive, or to calm and console.
To Encourage one needs to have Scripture knowledge, a deep relationship with God, faith in His character, and personal experience of being comforted by Him. Developing genuine relationships proves essential, as encouragement requires physical presence and regular gathering together.
Importantly, authentic encouragement must ultimately direct people toward Christ—if it doesn’t deepen their knowledge of or desire for Him, it falls short of this spiritual gift.
The New Unger’s Bible Dictionary Fainthearted
Encourage the Fainthearted: (“little spirited”). Signifies one who is laboring under such trouble that his heart sinks within him; it may also mean one’s despairing of working out his salvation.
Help the Weak: To bring support to those who are lacking of strength, whether physical or spiritual.
31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
32 Give no offense to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God,
33 just as I try to please everyone in everything I do, not seeking my own advantage, but that of many, that they may be saved.
to the glory of God, which involves our having regard to the edification of our neighbor.
22 To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some.
23 I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings.
1 We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
2 Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.
3 For Christ did not please himself, but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me.”
4 For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
5 May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus,
6 that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7 Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

13 But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
