Good morning
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
This week with all the news on the septic and stress from that the Lord knew what scripture I needed.
Many nights with no sleep praying and asking God for guidance because we want to be good steward of Gods house and his resources.
This scripture ended up in my lap as i was reading and listening to messages this week.
I will say this we have people right here who are going through stuff that's overwhelming. When we are in our own bubbles we dont see the hurt and the stuff others are dealing with we tend to focus on our own.
3 years ago i was in and out of the hospital so many time i started to learn all the nurses names on the orthopedic floor of big mercy
11 years ago i was in what i though was my dream job
1 year ago God had us start coming to Richwoods
Looking back i see Gods hand doing all the moving of the pieces but during all that craziness i sure didnt i was overwhelmed
How many in here have been there.
Let us not Grow Weary
Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
The Whole Context
#1 do be deceived God is not mocked— God isnt a game HE is as real as real can be and we need to recognize who he is daily through all we do
Have we mocked God this week — How by acting like he isnt there, By not giving him the glory he disserves
What we sow we will reap. Good or bad
If we are expecting Blessing and giving Glory to God for all the Good in our live Our eyes will be opened to all the blessing God truly does give us.
When we Sow Good God blesses When we sow bad God allows the consequences.
You drink 9/10 liver issues, you over eat obesity related sickness
We have to be willing to Give God the things we Know are reaping the Flesh, if we Dont how can we expect God to bless.
I know doing the hard things make us weary and worn out. Its where we have to put our trust in God
We cant say o i trust God but continue to live in the flesh because thats a doubled minded person
he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
Do mot Grow weary — Tired, Exhausted, fatigued, drained
When we are weary it wears us down to where many times we are good for nothing
When we focus on the negative all the time soon that will become all we see
Then the king commanded, and Daniel was brought and cast into the den of lions. The king declared to Daniel, “May your God, whom you serve continually, deliver you!”
And a stone was brought and laid on the mouth of the den, and the king sealed it with his own signet and with the signet of his lords, that nothing might be changed concerning Daniel.
Then the king went to his palace and spent the night fasting; no diversions were brought to him, and sleep fled from him.
Then, at break of day, the king arose and went in haste to the den of lions.
As he came near to the den where Daniel was, he cried out in a tone of anguish. The king declared to Daniel, “O Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?”
Then Daniel said to the king, “O king, live forever!
My God sent his angel and shut the lions’ mouths, and they have not harmed me, because I was found blameless before him; and also before you, O king, I have done no harm.”
Daniel was thrown into he lions den If any one would be weary i should have been him. But Daniel knew God was bigger tah any issue he was dealing with.
You here me say that alot because i need remined all the time My God is bigger.
Daniel fixed his Eyes on God and God blessed
And there was a woman who had had a discharge of blood for twelve years,
and who had suffered much under many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was no better but rather grew worse.
She had heard the reports about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment.
For she said, “If I touch even his garments, I will be made well.”
And immediately the flow of blood dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease.
And Jesus, perceiving in himself that power had gone out from him, immediately turned about in the crowd and said, “Who touched my garments?”
And his disciples said to him, “You see the crowd pressing around you, and yet you say, ‘Who touched me?’ ”
And he looked around to see who had done it.
But the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came in fear and trembling and fell down before him and told him the whole truth.
And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”
This woman had a disease of blood for years and no doctor was able to help, She had grown weary, but she heard of a man named Jesus
Let that sink in Are we seeking The man named Jesus She kne if she could just touch id garments she would be healed.
Thats what happened her Faith broke the weariness and she Found Hope.
You may be dealing with sickness this morning folks we have the Living Hope Jesus
Let us case our weariness aside and trust in the Lord.
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
God calls us to not give up and to continue to do good put our faith in the work he has laid before us
Hes not through with me, you or the Richwood's church
There will be set backs i was told i will have 1-3 crisis as a pastor in my 1st 5 years.
Well the Lord thought me and Kevin and the church can handle on in less than a year as pastor.
But heres the deal ill be stressed but im giving it to God He is Bigger
Lasty lets reflect on these thoughts
When God wanted David to be king he didnt just give him a crown — HE gave him a Gaint
When God wanted to raise Joseph to the Palace he didnt just give him a short cut, he put him in prison
When God wanted to make Ester Queen he didnt giver her comfort He gave her a crisis
Our blessing is on the other side of our battle sometimes we have to go through the battle to get the Lords blessings
Most people want the blessing with out going through the battle because the end up growing weary
Let us not Grow weary Put our faith in God and trust in His plan
