B. Read Romans 13:8-14, Pray

C. Intro Statement

Here in Romans 13, as it is in Luke 15, there seems to be a modern misunderstanding as what love of neighbor looks like. Today, we hear those who want open boarders, or at least not to turn away anyone who may be needing asylum, claim you Christians always talk about loving your neighbor but wont do it here. First of all, If you don’t live the Bible, don’t quote it to me. second, as we have seen in the good Samaritan story it wasn’t Samaria that came to this poor guy’s aid, it was the one who was closest, it wasn’t the Levites and the Priests who as a whole failed but the two that passed on by. So let us stop looking nationally, but here in our own back yard, the Bitterroot Valley, Hamilton, Corvallis, Darby, Charlos Heights. What we will see today, I hope that you will be encouraged to take and live the Gospel among your neighbors around you and to know the difference between real love for your neighbor and the evil of Tolerance.
