The word of God makes the weakness of God’s people serve the work of God. In 2 Timothy 2:8–13, chained Paul quotes an “unchained medley” hymn: die with Christ to live with him; endure to reign with him; he remains faithful even in our faithlessness. This message shows how limitations—shame, illness, smallness—amplify the gospel when we remember the risen King, entrust our chains to him, and renew allegiance to the One whose word runs free through chained apostles and blind widows.
