Then Jesus walks up and starts asking questions; notice the response.

talk about how they refuse to believe the women, or what Jesus had taught them.
This next part is so important… how does Jesus respond?
does he cuddle them?
does He kiss their boo boos and tell them he is sorry?
No; first He rebukes their attitude......!
Maya Angelou and American Poet wrote “If you don’t like something change it!
If you cant change it Change you attitude!”
Then He teaches them.... See it isn't enough to just rebuke them and tell that their attitude stinks, He needed to help them find a new attitude!
Remember this is in the midst of their world fallen apart, and they may be in fear for their own lives.
If their attitudes had been better I believe this story would have been significantly different.....!
Jesus then reveals Himself to them at the table...
This encounter with Jesus change everything!
