Review:
What is death?- Separation of our bodies from our soul.
What is Hell?- Separation from God for eternity.
What is Heaven?- Being with God, praising Him for eternity.
Will we be different in Heaven?- Yes, we will be without sin and have new bodies.

in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
-What does this verse mean?- That those that have not been saved cannot see Jesus or His Word for what it is- the truth.
-Who is the god of this world?- satan
-What does satan want us to focus on?- Ourselves, the world.
1 Corinthians
1 Corinthians 1:18 NASB95
For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
-God gives us eyes to see and ears to hear His word when He saves us. He opens our hearts to the gospel.
1 Corinthians 13:12 NASB95
For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.
Here Paul talks about our spiritual eyes, we cannot see Jesus for who He truly is because of our sin, but when we meet Him in heaven, we will see His full glory.
People always want something to satisfy themselves. They think that worldly things will fill the void within them.
What kind of things do people in the world try to fill that void with?- Material things (Cars, money, houses, jobs, etc.)
Do these things satisfy us forever?- No, the things of this earth pass away. We always want more.

One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord And to meditate in His temple.
-What does the psalmist want?- To be with God forever, to look on His glory for all eternity.
Psalm 16:11b NASB95
You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.
