Truths we can Trust: Scripture

Psalm 19:7-11

Intro: Every board game comes with its pieces the board probably a set of cards but the most important part of the board game is the instructions. The instructions are the most important part of the game without it you won’t know how to play the game what certain cards do or certain spots on the board do. It is hard to play a new game without the instructions.

In our lives we have instructions these instructions or even commands come from God’s Word. Just like how one can be clueless how or not know how the game is supposed to work. Same goes with the Bible without God’s Word we cannot know how God wants us to live and how we can please Him. God’s Word is a lamp to our feet in our journey through this dark world.

Tonight we are closing our series with looking at what the Bible is and what it can do and why it is essential in our lives.

1. What we believe

We believe that the Holy Bible as originally written was verbally and plenarily inspired of God and the product of Spirit-controlled men, and therefore it is truth without admixture of error for its matter. We believe that it is supernaturally preserved and that it is the true center of Christian union and the only infallible rule for all human conduct, creeds and opinions
