Protected People and a Purified Priesthood

A Protected People

Israel still holds a special place in the eyes of God.

First, Jerusalem will be rebuilt and a large part will not have walls.

It will be protected by the Lord Himself.

Israel is still the “apple of God’s eye.”

He causes the nations that come against Israel to become plunder.

God promises to “take possession of the Judah and Jerusalem.”

A Purified Priesthood

A Courtroom trial for a sinful priest.

His garments are soiled. Satan is the accuser and adversary. Revelation 12:10 “10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.”

The Lord stands up as the advocate for the high priest Joshua (whose name means Yahweh Delivers)

He rebukes Satan and the cleanses Joshua.

He puts priestly robes on Joshua and recommissions him to service.

Christ is the Branch - Revelation 5:5 “5 And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.””
