New Living Translation Chapter 16
36 Praise the LORD, the God of Israel,
who lives from
Everlasting to everlasting! —stretching from eternity past to eternity future. —the blessing anchors Israel’s confidence in God’s unchanging commitment. regardless of time.
The people shouted, Amen.
Hebrew word for amen is—NETAN— meaning “so it is” or “let it be,”
derived from a verb meaning “to be firm or sure.”
Or the Huntington Beach word, “fer-sur”
It means, I agree, That is right, and I will do it.
AMEN - I yield-

I YIELD, my way — to your way.
Yielding represents a fundamental / reorientation of the Christian life—/ making oneself / completely available to God’s purposes / rather than pursuing one’s own agenda.
Yielding is AMEN, - “natan” - with skin on.
Yielding is the other side of repentance.

Yielding is to find his face, and being let by His Holy Spirit.

And all the people shouted “Amen!” and praised the LORD.
One of the preceeding verses is 29, “Give the Lord the Glory He deserves.”
It is right, appropriate, and fitting that we Yield.
“Thou are coming to a king, large petitions with thee bring, for his grace and power are such, that none can ever ask to much.”
