Change one’s mind

Feel remorse

Repent

Be converted

BELIEVE - Pisteuo | πιστεύω

To consider to be true and worthy of trust

To entrust oneself to an Entity (God) in complete confidence

In the context of Mark 1…

Jesus is baptized and goes through His temptations

Jesus announces the Good News…

“The time has come. The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”

Jesus calls Simon and Andrew to follow Him

Jesus calls James and John to follow Him

They immediately went to Capernaum and got to work

You and I are having a “Mark 1:15 moment” today…

The kingdom of God has come near

Jesus has called us to REPENT…

It doesn’t matter how long you’ve followed Jesus, there is more of the world to REPENT of…

Jesus has called us to ENTRUST OURSELVES TO HIM IN COMPLETE OBEDIENCE…

It doesn’t matter how long you’ve followed Jesus, HE IS SENDING YOU AGAIN…
