1. Cross references

Very useful when New Testament people quote the Old testament

How to use it

Matthew 4:1-11
vs. 3-4 (Deuteronomy 8:3)
vs. 6 (Psalm 91:11-12)
vs. 7 (Deuteronomy 6:16)
vs. 10 (Deuteronomy 6:3)

2. Concordance

BE BRIEF
Concordance = Finding a reference, find all the verses that speak on a certain topic.
I hardly use this, online has replaced this tool.

How to Use it

You want to find the reference for “without faith it is sin”
Open your concordance to “F” and look for faith (Page 1588)
Look for your verse
