Heaven (?) or Hell (?)
As we go through this series the tendency is to see where I am doing good; we need to be honest enough so see where we are failing and allow God in those areas.
That we might start bearing good fruit where I use to be a failure at.
Once we bear good fruit then it can become abundant fruit.
The best marriage is one of service.
Where both serve one another.
Men this means you should be serving your wife with greater passion then how you serve your career!
To all my princesses out there; ladies that means you should be serving your husband with more vigor then anything or anyone else !
24 And when the ten heard it, they were indignant at the two brothers.
25 But Jesus called them to him and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.
26 It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant,
27 and whoever would be first among you must be your slave,
28 even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
15 But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another.
Here we see a the perfect contrast between Heaven and Hell relationships!
Serve or Devour.....
18 What then is my reward? That in my preaching I may present the gospel free of charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel.
19 For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them.
20 To the Jews I became as a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law I became as one under the law (though not being myself under the law) that I might win those under the law.
21 To those outside the law I became as one outside the law (not being outside the law of God but under the law of Christ) that I might win those outside the law.
22 To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some.
23 I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings.
I have seen many people more concerned with with winning over the lost, more than they are worried about the souls of the ones under the their roof!
What Paul was saying is go into one another's world.
Go into one another's world!

When we argue in our homes we above all people need to be very careful what is spoken!
5 So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things. How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire!
6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire by hell.
Let me ask are you burning down your world with how you speak to one another?
27 A worthless man plots evil, and his speech is like a scorching fire.
Bring up every past failure or making statements like “you always”……..
We have to be so careful what we destroy with our fire breathing tongues!!
Who wants to be considered wise.
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom.
14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth.
15 This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.
16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice.
17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.
18 And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
You may have burned your house but you can always build back a more beautiful house!
19 Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger;
20 for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.
27 Whoever restrains his words has knowledge, and he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding.
28 Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.
12 Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,
13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
14 And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
What is the recipe for a marriage made in heaven ?
Serve One Another
Love One Another
Don't Bite One Another
Go Into One Another's World
Don't Lie One Another
Respect One Another's needs.
Allow for One Another's mistakes (i.e. forgiveness)
Yield to One Another.
Pray for One Another
Serve One Another
When we bear abundant fruit in our marriages we will have marriages made in HEAVEN
