It has been a joy and sometimes frustration but mostly a joy to watch you all grow up. As we have seen the pictures.
Many of you I’ve had in middle school and to see you become the young ladies and young men that Love the Lord.
To see you grow in your faith.
In middle school our goal was to solidify your walk with the Lord. So that in high school you would continue building on that foundation and to be ready and more prepared to live in the world today.
And as I was pondering lasting words in this setting even though, I know that I will see you around I know I will still ask you questions from time to time.
A couple of those questions might be:
Are you still reading God’s word, because we know God’s word changes lives!
Are you faithful in serving the Lord
When you start getting involved with someone else in your life my first question is do they know Jesus.
Parents you’ve had the opportunity to invest in your kids lives for the past 18 years
We have had opportunity as a church to invest in your kids lives by teaching them the word of God
SO it all comes done to this.… do you all have a relationship with Jesus Christ”
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,
This is the gospel - the death , burial and resurrection of Jesus. This chapter is written because Paul is reminding the people that the Gospel is true, because if it was not this would all be in vain. Paul was adamant about the gospel and adamant about sharing God’s word.
Since Jesus died on a cross for us, He shed His blood to cover our sins. Jesus was buried in a tomb and three days later he rose from the grave as a victorious savior.
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
My life verse is 1 Corinthians 15:57-58
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
In middle school we solidified the foundation that was built in Elementary, high school added to that foundation now you continue to make that foundation stronger!
Be steadfast and unmovable always abounding in the work of the Lord knowing that your labor is not in vain.
Stay in God’s word because God’s word changes lives and we then can experience his love his mercy and grace by knowing him.
It has been a pleasure and blessing to watch you all grow up. Parents thank you for letting us be apart of your students life!
