Peter, Something's Different About You

I’ve preached a lot to the GMPBC but today I wan’t to have a conversation with Peter. You’re welcome to listen in, your welcome to agree or disagree but I have some things I need to share with Peter. I may ask you to instigate from time to time but I need to talk to Peter. Because Peter, Something’s different about you.

Do y’all know Peter? I know you Peter.

It was Peter who questioned Jesus power when finishing.

It was Peter who started to sink when he was just arms length.

It was Peter who dared rebuke Jesus for going to the cross to die for him.

It was Peter tried to one up Jesus and not let him was your feet, missing the whole point.

Peter I remember when you cut Malcus’ ear off.

I remember when Jesus was at his lowest point you abandoned him and left him all along to face the Sanhedrin alone.

Then I remember you had the nerve to deny Jesus not one, not twice, but three times. And even cussed out a little girl while doing it.

But, I also see you Peter.

1. You’ve Got Your People

The Disciples were all on one accord. Then when he starts preaching they are with him.

Something must be said about having community behind you.

2. You’ve Got God’s Presence

Walk different.

No fear, just Faith

Beat the stereotypes (Drunk/Galileans)

3. You’ve God Some Power

Supernatural- Speaking in tongues.
