This week we celebrated Pentecost, the day on which the Holy Spirit was poured out on the disciples in power. This was what the disciples had been waiting for. It is the power of the Holy Spirit that enabled the disciples to do everything they do throughout the book of Acts. Today we celebrate that the Holy Spirit has come in power, for all people, as promised, and for salvation.
