I. Intro.-

A. A good Suspense Novel

B. Read Romans 15:8-13, Pray

C. Intro Statement

Just like a good suspense or mystery novel can grip you with giving you little clues throughout the book and if you are paying attention, you might not be as surprised by the big reveal at the end. The Bible reads in many ways the same when we talk about Salvation. When you start reading through the OT you are very aware of Salvation coming to the Jews, almost exclusively. When you get to the NT you are hit with the fact that Salvation is for everyone, not just for the Jews, and not just the Gentiles. When you come to a passage like this, where all the points Paul is making comes from the OT, We should much like the Suspense or Mystery Novel remember those small details earlier in the book that gave away the ending but just didn’t seem important at the time.
As we are coming down the home stretch in the Book of Romans, we only have a few weeks left, Paul is going to recap for us the whole point of the Book of Romans here in this section of Scripture.
