When God Doesn't Hurry

John 11:1-16

1. Sometimes Jesus Delays in Ways We Do Not Understand (vv. 1-6)

a. The seriousness of the situation.

b. The shocking response of Jesus.

2. Sometimes Jesus Leads Us Into Difficult Places (vv. 7-10)

a. The disciples resist returning.

b. Jesus walked in divine timing.

3. Sometimes Jesus Plans Something Greater Than We Imagined (vv. 11-16)

a. Jesus announces Lazarus’ death.

b. Faith was about to grow.

God’s delays are not wasted.

God is doing more than we can currently see.

Faith can grow deeply in seasons of waiting.

Jesus is never late from Heaven’s perspective.
