Though in the Fall we listened to the word of the serpent and were cast from the presence of God, Jesus Christ was born as a man to restore our humanity to its rightful place in the presence of God. When Jesus killed death and returned humanity to life, he ascended to the presence of God to grant the indwelling Spirit of God to all who believe.
