Number Analogies

43,252,003,274,489,856,000 (Rubik’s Cube orientations)
Specify that you will bring it up later
Talk about how crazy a number that big is
For Jesus to fulfill 10 prophecies it would be a 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
to help understand this number if we took silver dollars and covered the whole earth with them, the pile would be 1,900 feet deep, now imagine marking one of those coins and having to find it on the 1st try!

Prophecies

8 Prophecies Jesus fulfilled in His death and resurrection
He was abandoned be His disciples(Zechariah 13:7; Matthew 26:56)
He was silent before those who were accusing Him(Isaiah 53:7; Matthew 27:12)
He was laughed at, beaten, and spit at(Isaiah 50:6; Matthew 27:30)
His hands and feet were pierced(Psalm 22:16; Luke 23:33)
Soldiers played games for his clothes(Psalm 22:18; Matthew 27:35)
He was executed with criminals(Isaiah 53:12; Mark 15:27)
None of His bones were broken(Psalm 34:20 and Exodus 12:46; John 19:33)
He was buried in a rich man’s tomb(Isaiah 53:9; Matthew 27:57-60)

Gospel/Who was Jesus

What does this matter?
Rubik’s cube analogy for the Gospel
Start(God created everything perfect) Genesis 1:1
Genesis 1:1 NASB95
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Mix the Cube(We messed it up with sin) Romans 3:23, 6:23
Romans 3:23 NASB95
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans 6:23 NASB95
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Start Solving(We try to do things that make that it better: examples of good things)
Get to the cross(We can’t fix it on our own, so Jesus came and died on the cross so that we can be made right again) John 3:16; Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9-10
John 3:16 NASB95
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
Acts 16:31 NASB95
They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
Solved(Our fixed relationship with God because of Jesus)
Heart(He did this because He loves us) Romans 5:8
Romans 5:8 NASB95
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
This is the gift that Jesus lived, died, and rose again so that we could be made right with God
If you have questions, talk to me or your leaders about them, and if you want to believe in Jesus and be made right with Him again tell Him
