Welcome Statement

The Trinity is an emergent understanding of Declaring who God is in a creedal way

Holy Spirit Reading - Genesis 1:1-4

Genesis 1:1–5 GNT
In the beginning, when God created the universe, the earth was formless and desolate. The raging ocean that covered everything was engulfed in total darkness, and the Spirit of God was moving over the water. Then God commanded, “Let there be light”—and light appeared. God was pleased with what he saw. Then he separated the light from the darkness, and he named the light “Day” and the darkness “Night.” Evening passed and morning came—that was the first day.
Triune Genesis Reading
Genesis 1:26–30 NRSV
Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.” So God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.” God said, “See, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit; you shall have them for food. And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.

His dominion is an everlasting dominion that shall not pass away, and his kingship is one that shall never be destroyed.

Doxology / Benediction / Closing

Hebrews 10:22–25 GNT
So let us come near to God with a sincere heart and a sure faith, with hearts that have been purified from a guilty conscience and with bodies washed with clean water. Let us hold on firmly to the hope we profess, because we can trust God to keep his promise. Let us be concerned for one another, to help one another to show love and to do good. Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead, let us encourage one another all the more, since you see that the Day of the Lord is coming nearer.
Know that this Triune God means that we are infinitely close to our Savior. Jesus Christ is present and real with us and within us. He is more than some spirit, he is incarnational. Our eyes struggle to see that, and that is why he sent the Spirit, to remind us. Share the Good News today, that the Kingdom of God has indeed come near, and resides in our hearts, and in this Body of Christ we call home.
May you Have a Blessed Sunday, and rest of your Week! Amen!
