The Bible says a lot about lots of important things—like peace, hope, faith, sin, and judgment. It also says a lot about love.
Jesus said that the most important commandment is to “love God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” and following from that to “love your neighbor as yourself” (Matt 22:36-40).
The Bible helps us see that love is the essential ingredient in the relationship between parents and children, between husbands and wives, between Christians, and even for Christians toward their enemies (even if enemies don’t love us back!).
It tells us that God loves us in Christ (Romans 8).
