word study: clean, begging 

as a testimony. ESV as a proof  Dont tell anyone, let your life, let your healing be the message. people can mishear, mishape. misconstrue, and misunderstand words. but no one can logically deny, no one can forget the action. You may not remember the pastors last sermon. but you remember the counseling, the meetings, the prayers in the hospital. 

you may not remember the stories your grandma told but you remember sitting on her lap hearing them. 

the news spread all the more. jesus tries to stay silent but beither the people he tells keep silent nor can he escape the crowds. humans are drawn to God 

how could the man possinly keep it to himself? what about the people in the town who saw him every day, the other sick and paralyzed? his family, friends? why even bother telling him to be quiet? 

he reached out to the man. he touched him specfially. why? He heals the centurian from afar. compare and contrast other healings where he does not touch them. 

Mark Moore once said “Jesus claimed cleanness was more contagious than uncleanness.”
