WELCOME

Good morning and welcome to church, it is great to see you all hear as we worship God and thank Him for all He has done for us. If you are visiting with us today, we pray that you will be blessed and that you would encounter Jesus and all He has for you.

Also I want to encourage you don’t just come for one week take the time to get to know us and to see if Oasis Church, is the family for you.

We look forward to catching up with you around morning tea.

LET’S PRAY

Prayer: Father we thank You for Your grace and love toward us. We pray that we would be filled with Your Spirit, Your strength and Your power, so that we can walk in all that You have called us to. We ask Your Holy Spirit to bring revelation of Your word that we can apply it to our lives and live it out. Father bless Your people in Jesus name. Amen

TRUST IN THE LORD

Psalm 125:1

"Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore." (NIV)

1. Unmovable Stability: 

Mountains are permanent and cannot be easily moved. Just as Mount Zion (the hill upon which Jerusalem was built) stands firm and rooted, believers who trust God are given a steadfast spirit that cannot be toppled by life's difficulties. 

2. Divine Protection: 

The metaphor extends in the next verse ("As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people"), meaning that believers are constantly guarded by God's presence. 

3. Eternal Endurance: 

Mount Zion is considered the holy dwelling place of God. Therefore, trusting Him places believers in a secure, eternal relationship that will never be destroyed.

4. GUARD YOUR HEART 

Proverbs 4:23–27 NIV

23 Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. 24 Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. 25 Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. 26 Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. 27 Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.

5. YOUR WORD I HAVE HIDDEN IN MY HEART

Psalm 119:9–16 NIV

9 How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word. 10 I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. 11 I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. 12 Praise be to you, Lord; teach me your decrees. 13 With my lips I recount all the laws that come from your mouth. 14 I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. 15 I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. 16 I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.

6. VISION FOR THE FUTURE

Psalm 102:18 NIV

18 Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord:

Invite Rachel and the Senior Leadership Team.

Announce the approval from the bank.

We have spoken to the builder, have a meeting with builder on Monday.

Announce the giving clip.

Thank those who have already given.

We encourage you to seek God on what you are believing for to sow into your church and the generations to come.

We have already seen so many miracles to this point and know that God will continue doing miracles as we build for the future.
