LET’S PRAY
Prayer: Father we thank You for Your grace and love toward us. We pray that we would be filled with Your Holy Spirit, Your strength and Your power, so that we can walk in all that You have called us to. We ask Holy Spirit to bring revelation of Your word that we can apply it to our lives and live it out.
Father bless Your people in Jesus name. Amen
Today is a Significant day for us, it has been 1 year since we held our Sunday on the block. Can I get you to turn your attention to the screen as we play a clip for you as a reminder of the goodness of God and the miracles He has done for us.
SUNDAY ON THE BLOCK
SUNDAY ON THE BLOCK
This will be written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the Lord.
This will be written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the Lord.
16For the Lord shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory.
17He shall regard the prayer of the destitute, And shall not despise their prayer.
18This will be written for the generation to come, That a people yet to be created may praise the Lord.
19For He looked down from the height of His sanctuary; From heaven the Lord viewed the earth,
20To hear the groaning of the prisoner, To release those appointed to death,
21To declare the name of the Lord in Zion, And His praise in Jerusalem,
22When the peoples are gathered together, And the kingdoms, to serve the Lord.
What we are doing here will be spoken of for generations to come and they will praise God for this.
Take a look at yourself, from 12 months ago until now. Have you grown closer to God or away from God. Today is your day to put off the past and step into all that God has for you.
What you do makes a difference,
Walks - Runs - Sprints
15 I am the Lord, your Holy One, Israel’s Creator, your King.” 16 This is what the Lord says— he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, 17 who drew out the chariots and horses, the army and reinforcements together, and they lay there, never to rise again, extinguished, snuffed out like a wick: 18 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
1 Give ear, O my people, to my law; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth. 2 I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old, 3 Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us. 4 We will not hide them from their children, Telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done. 5 For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children;
3 Tell your children about it, Let your children tell their children, And their children another generation.
3 Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established. 4 The Lord has made all for Himself, Yes, even the wicked for the day of doom. 5 Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord; Though they join forces, none will go unpunished.

20 Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]— 21 To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it)
1. God is a God of Purpose
1. God is a God of Purpose
Nothing God does is random. From creation to the cross to your personal story, He acts with intention.
God created you on purpose, for a purpose. And that purpose isn’t canceled when things don’t go the way we’d like. It continues— even through pain.
When Joseph was sold into slavery, God had a purpose.
When David was hiding in caves, God had a purpose.
When Jesus went to the cross, it looked like defeat—but it was divine purpose in motion.
Our building burnt down, but God has a purpose!
Purpose isn’t always pretty—but it’s always present.
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
When the worst thing becomes the best thing - Message we’ve seen outplay with our own eyes
As we watched the fire on that chilly Sunday morning, we were not aware of the miracles that were about to happen
I want to thank the Lord for what He has done!
2. God’s Providence is Evident
2. God’s Providence is Evident
Looking back, we see God's hand everywhere!
God’s providence means He’s not a passive observer. He is an active sustainer. He doesn’t just have a plan—He directs every detail to fulfil it.
20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.
The enemy may have meant to scatter us—but instead, we were drawn closer together.
What God has done in this season:
The church understanding they are the church
