The rainbow was never created as a symbol of human pride. It was established by God as a sign of His covenant with mankind.
“I have set My rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.” — Genesis 9:13
The Bible warns that pride leads to destruction, but humility leads to grace and honor (Proverbs 16:18; James 4:6). Every time we see a rainbow, we should be reminded of God’s mercy, faithfulness, and promise—not man’s glory.
