INTRODUCTION

The King is Coming!
Five weeks. One question. Why does Israel matter? Today we get the answer in full. Not just a prophecy chart — a living, breathing, hope-producing vision of what God is moving toward. The return is not just a theological concept. It is an event. It is a Person. And He is almost here.
Main Idea: The return of the King is not a single moment — it is a sequence. From the rapture to the eternal Kingdom every phase is a chapter in the same story — a King reclaiming everything that belongs to Him, fulfilling every covenant He ever made, and making all things new.

MESSAGE

THE DEPARTURE — The Rapture of the Church
Read: 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 Read: 1 Corinthians 15:51–52
The sequence begins with rescue — not judgment
Harpazo — seized, caught up, snatched away — in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye
The dead in Christ rise first — the living are transformed — the church is caught up
Why the rapture is pretribulational
The Tribulation is the time of Jacob's trouble — designed for Israel, not the church
1 Thessalonians 5:9 — God has not appointed us to wrath
The church age is the gap — the rapture closes it — Daniel's 70th week resumes
The Israel connection
The rapture is not just the church going home
It is the signal that Israel's final chapter is beginning
The clock resumes — week 70 begins — God's program with Israel picks up exactly where it paused
THE DARKNESS — The Tribulation and the Time of Jacob's Trouble
Read: Daniel 9:27 Read: Matthew 24:21
The structure of the Tribulation
Seven years — Daniel's 70th week — covenant made and broken at the midpoint
The abomination of desolation — the Antichrist desecrates the temple
The Great Tribulation — the final 3.5 years — the worst period in human history
Israel at the center
Jeremiah 30:7 — the time of Jacob's trouble
The Tribulation is designed to bring national Israel to Messianic recognition
Zechariah 13:8–9 — two thirds cut off, one third refined as silver through the fire
The Antichrist
The prince who is to come — Daniel 9:26
The dragon's final instrument — the last attempt to prevent the return of Christ
He will fail — like every instrument before him
THE COURTROOM — The Judgment Seat and the Marriage Supper
Read: 2 Corinthians 5:10 Read: Revelation 19:7–8
While the Tribulation unfolds on earth — the church is in heaven
The Judgment Seat of Christ
Not condemnation — that was settled at the cross
Evaluation — every word, deed, motive, act of service or selfishness
1 Corinthians 3:12–15 — wood, hay, stubble burn — gold, silver, precious stones remain
Rewards given or lost based on how you lived for the King
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb
The roar of a great multitude — Hallelujah — the marriage of the Lamb has come
The bride arrayed in fine linen — the righteous acts of the saints
The greatest wedding in eternity — while the world below experiences its darkest hour
The King is coming — and He is coming for His bride first
THE BATTLE — Armageddon and the Second Coming
Read: Revelation 19:11–13, 16 Read: Zechariah 14:3–4
The darkest hour — the nations gathered against Jerusalem
Zechariah 14:2 — the city taken, half going into captivity
The dragon's final move — the Antichrist's armies assembled
It looks like Israel is finished — and then heaven opens
The returning King — preach it with full weight
White horse — Faithful and True — eyes like a flame of fire
Many crowns — robe dipped in blood — King of Kings and Lord of Lords
The One who rode in on a donkey now rides out of heaven on a white horse
The One who wore a crown of thorns now wears every crown in existence
His feet on the Mount of OlivesZechariah 14:4
Not symbolic — a real mountain outside a real city
He left from the Mount of Olives — Acts 1:11 — He is coming back to the Mount of Olives
The mountain splits — a valley of escape for the Jewish remnant
The recognitionZechariah 12:10
The Jewish remnant looks on the One they pierced
The Spirit poured out — the recognition comes — mourning as for an only son
All Israel will be saved — Romans 11:26 — Stage 2 arrives — the breath enters the bones
Armageddon
Not a battle — a rout
The Antichrist cast into the lake of fire — the dragon bound for a thousand years
The seed war of Genesis 3:15 reaches its penultimate resolution — the head is crushed
THE DAWN — The Millennial Kingdom and the Eternal Kingdom
Read: Revelation 20:4 Read: Revelation 21:1, 4 Read: Zechariah 14:9
The Millennial Kingdom — one thousand years of Christ reigning on earth
Every covenant fulfilled — walk through each one
Abrahamic — Israel possesses the full land grant of Genesis 15:18 for the first time
Davidic — Jesus reigns from Jerusalem on David's literal throne — 2 Samuel 7:12–16
New Covenant — they all shall know Me — Jeremiah 31:34 — finally, fully, nationally true
What the Millennium looks like
Isaiah 2:2–4 — nations stream to Jerusalem — swords into plowshares
The knowledge of God covering the earth as the waters cover the sea
Israel at the center — the nations drawn to the light — one King
The Great White Throne — briefly and soberly
Read: Revelation 20:11–12
Every person without Christ stands before God — the books are opened
Everyone not found in the Book of Life — cast into the lake of fire — the second death
This is why the gospel matters
The Eternal Kingdom — the final destination
New heaven, new earth — God makes all things new
The New Jerusalem descends — lit by the Lamb — God dwells with His people
No more death, sorrow, crying, or pain — the former things passed away
Zechariah 14:9 — the LORD shall be King over all the earth — the LORD is one

CONCLUSION

Israel — Every phase of the sequence has Israel at the center. The rapture starts Israel's final chapter. The Tribulation is Israel's refining fire. The Second Coming is triggered by Israel's repentance. The Millennium fulfills every covenant. The Eternal Kingdom is the destination. The covenant is irrevocable. The bones are assembled. The King is coming. And when He comes — every promise made to Abraham will be kept to the last word.
The Believer — The rapture is your homecoming. The Judgment Seat is your evaluation. The Marriage Supper is your wedding. The Second Coming is your return. The Millennium is your reign. The Eternal Kingdom is your forever. The prophetic sequence is not just something to know about — it is something to live in light of. The Judgment Seat is coming. What are you doing with the time you have?
The Gospel — For anyone who does not yet know Christ — everything we talked about today is coming. The rapture. The Tribulation. The Judgment Seat. The Great White Throne. They are events. Scheduled. On God's calendar. We do not know the day or the hour. But we know the signs. The bones are assembled. The fig tree is budding. The King is almost here. Today is the day of salvation. Do not miss Him.
Read: Revelation 22:20
"Even so, come, Lord Jesus."
The covenant matters. The blueprint matters. The remnant matters. The hatred matters. And the return — the return matters most of all. Because the return is when everything gets resolved. Every covenant kept. Every wrong made right. Every tear wiped away. Every promise fulfilled.
The King is coming. Live like it.
