Step 2: Association

"They might be with Him."

The disciples learned by proximity. Discipleship is caught before it is taught.

Step 3: Demonstration

Jesus showed them:

Prayer

Compassion

Evangelism

Leadership

"I have given you an example."

Step 4: Participation

Luke 9:1-6

Jesus sent them out. Learning moved from observation to action.

Step 5: Evaluation

Luke 10:17-20

The disciples returned and reported. Jesus celebrated victories and corrected perspectives.
