Have you ever had to stumble around in the dark? One night the power went out in our house and suddenly everything was pitch black. I couldn’t see anything at first and as a child it was quite terrifying.
Are you afraid of the dark?
The truth is, it was only a few years ago that I finally stopped being afraid of the dark. I was always afraid of something scary coming out when I couldn’t fully see behind me or beside me. I would turn off the lights and run to the safety of my bedroom.
But the dark isn’t just scary. It can be dangerous. How many parents have tripped over a stray toy or a stepped on a the infamous lego after turning out the light?
