Be Strong and Courageous

Deuteronomy 31:6–7 NKJV
Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, “Be strong and of good courage, for you must go with this people to the land which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall cause them to inherit it.

A mission and a promise

God sent Moses to Egypt on a mission to deliver a promise.
God delivered Israel from Pharaoh’s bondage.
God brought Israel into the wilderness to betroth them as His people.
God intended to bring them into the Promised Land.
The people became fearful and wandered in the wilderness for forty years.
God raised up another generation who would believe and obey.
God chose a man to lead them.

God has given us His promises.

The obstacles are real.

God is greater than the obstacles.

God seeks a strong and courageous generation.

God seeks strong and courageous leaders.
