Big Idea: How do you live a life that is pleasing to God?

Live to please your commanding officer Jesus Christ by being Faithful in suffering.
Faithfulness is found by committing to the 3 pillars of Faithfulness which are 1. Understanding the reality of hardship in the Christian life. 2. The power of teamwork and 3. Your identity as a Soldier of Jesus Christ.

Soldier’s will is swallowed up in the will of his/her commanding officer.
There is a price paid for faithful ministry or soldiering for the supreme commander.
Soldiers endure hardships such as inadequate food (MREs), clothing (uniforms), marches, and conditions.
Good soldiers do not do it for comfort. But surrender their self comforts for the sake of their commanding officers. So do the Soldiers of Christ.
Soldiers of Christ fufill the great “commander’s intent’ to unite in Matthew 28:19-20
We not only surrender but advance in warfare to unite the world under the rule and reign of Jesus Christ.
Christian ministry is warfare. To unite all people under the rule and reign of Christ.
Paul wrote 2 Timothy from prison. This imprisonment led to his martyrdom.
