Genesis 2:2–3
Matthew 11:28–30

Rest Resistance - Annie Wright

Rest resistance is the physiological and psychological inability to tolerate stillness, even when the body is exhausted and the mind knows rest is safe.

t’s the predictable output of a nervous system that learned, in its formative years, that downregulation equals vulnerability.

Stillness, rather than signaling safety, registers as danger. And the body responds accordingly.

Exodus 14:14

3. Disobeying

Hebrews 4:6–7

4. Laboring

Hebrews 4:8–10

God does NOT need your help

Acts 17:24–25

Conclusion

5. Entering

Hebrews 4:11–12

The Word is where the Rest is because Jesus was the Word made flesh

6. Taunting

Isaiah 14:3–7

It's Time to start talking trash to the enemy because Rest is on the way for God's chosen people

Confession

Father God, thank You that Rest belongs to me. I receive your Rest and i laugh at everything that tries to upset my rest because it wont work. In Jesus' name Amen!
