Fellowship
Lord of the Rings
December 2001
Fellowship is partnership.
Fellowship is partnership.
Sometimes we’re working.
Sometimes we’re going to concerts, or going to the beach, or going to taco bell at like….2 in the morning.
But our fellowship is built around this understanding that, we are so incredibly different, we come from SO many backgrounds……in fact we’re SO different, that it takes something MASSIVE to tie us all together. In fact, the more different we are, the bigger that thing has to be. And IF we are going to partner together, then we have to hold, as first importance, that thing that binds us together……

When my grandmother passed on; men putting an over in our house.
True fellowship is happening when I think about someone else’s needs instinctively - oh there was a death in their family, I should take them a meal. Oh he broke his leg, let me mow his lawn.
True fellowship is going to ask this question;
How can I actively meet the needs of those around me?
Well, you have to see them first.
Pray that God would show you the needs of those around you.

Pick one person a day that you are going to pray for.
It might be someone different everyday
It might be the same person
You know what, it MIGHT be someone that you’re not necessarily connected with, and in fact, that’s the PERFECT person to pray for.

The more we love the people we have, the people God sends.
The more we love the people we have, the people God sends.
Not just on Wednesdays. Not just on Sundays.
When we see people in the hall, when we see people at chic fila when we see people, ANYWHERE, and we love on them. High fives, hey how are ya, you throw them a nod, you tell them you’re praying for them…..
