RECOGNIZE, RESPOND, RESUME

Good morning church family. Today is Sunday, July 5th. 2026, We are continuing and are following Jesus series and want to talk about the father. Recognize respond reason. I want that to get into your skin. Just a mint recognize. Spock. And what are we talking about when we when we use these words and how do we want them to help you as you can?

I want you to have the ability to be able to recognize,

And one of the most important things, we can recognize that it's happening because it happens quite often. and with more intensity, the more you grow in Christ, and the more you get to become to know, God,

Is the attack. there's always an attack if you are a child of God, if you have been called by God to do anything, if he has empowered you and it quit you to minister to others because remember we Our primary occupation should be at the bottom of us. Some of us may have been called to do it on a more Global basis but we are all ministers of reconciliation. We are using our lives that we have devoted to God to serve God by bringing him to the awareness and knowledge of those whose past week. And if you have been targeted, By God to be one of his you are awesome. Targeted by an opposing Force to try to stop what God is doing. That's where the first word recognize become so important because you have to be able to recognize the attack that he tries to place on your life, and lower is partly that God allowed to come into your life. So that's what the one thing you have to understand that if the attack is there,

The first thing I want you to remember is that God allowed it. So it's God allowed it. There's a reason for it and it's not to bring your demise because God not destroy you but it is to make you better and how we make you better in the midst of your touch is to know how to recognize when it's

How do we recognize by the knowledge of the word of God and more importantly by the experiences we have with him? It seems familiar.

It's starting to get me feeling a certain way. I feel as certain as a nation coming on, right? That's how you begin to recognize. I don't feel so good because something is happening against my will something I don't like something that's making me. Want to act a certain way. You want to speak to certain way. Something is rising up in. What is this?

That's when the power to recognize what it is. Is what you need to put you with how to effectively respond to. Right. Let's get right into the word, amen. We're going to come out in Matthew 12. I hope is to get 2 verses 1 through 2.

Let's see how well we do the same in a green on a Sabbath day was something that we should be noting here. That it says on a Sabbath day that has meaning right. His followers were hungry. Now, in order for you to fully appreciate this accusation that the Pharisees has made against you this you have to understand a little bit about Sabbath day. Exodus 20 verses 8 through 11. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it. Holy you have six days each week for ordinary work. This includes you, your son. Your daughter, your male and female servants. Your livestock and any Corners living room. 46 days, the Lord made the heavens. And everything in it. But on the seventh day he rested that is why the Lord blessed the seventh day and set it apart as food. Exodus 34 21 to 26 days. For your ordinary work, but on the seventh day, you must stop working even during the season.

And harvest. now, the Sabbath laws and and they're all in Exodus Deuteronomy Leviticus The talk about how they must practice stuff. And I'm talking about God's people. During that time, they were being led out of Egypt into the promised land. And there's a lot of laws that go into what Sabbath mean. We're not going to go into all of that today, because it's not necessary for today lesson. But what I do want to say is this is a big deal with the people. But just saying that was in their boy. That's sarcasm. That the Judgment of the self-righteous vindictiveness in which they were coming at him. How dare he was allowed such a thing and you call yourself to be such a great teacher, and this is what you're allowing.

What makes you think about some of these people who are themselves as holy and righteous and while they may have the theatrics of being holy as of right now, there's no right to do this within them. Right? Because Jesus is understood the totality of the law and he would never pick it apart and distorted and manipulated Justice to his me. We don't use the word to effectuate our own goals by imposing on people and burning them down. You have to know who God is and only way you can know who is, if you take the time, Cousin It.

But getting to know one so that you do know how he lose you. Remember not just a few things. He said you remember all that he said and when in your journey, you are implementing a mission, a duty that God has called you for you and dissipate the attack so that you can effectively respond after recognize. And sometimes they're alerting you because it's so close to you. You've got to evacuate But they give you this information in increments. And in a way that suggests where you are in relation to where the prices is what you need to do about it. Sometimes you got to move quickly. You got to give a fast response. Sometimes you, you can give a more effective response. Right response, strategy allows you to meditate allows you to figure out what you need to do. Okay? If that fire. Is that distance away, I have time to start getting some things together. I have time to instruct all those that are around me, where safety is after. I find out where the safety is, I have time to plant, right? But we trust the information that we receive, right? Might do different when you are under attack. Please stand by for who

When you're under attack, the first thing that you should do is consult God. What's going on? Why do I feel the way I feel? Why is that?

When that attack comes, the first thing we need to do isn't give an emotional response.

It's not always a bad thing to have an emotional response. What if you are giving a more emotional response in the midst of an attack? What I wanted to just do, it is not the best way to respond. The best way to read. It's after you have consulted with God, I'm feeling this way. I'm don't understand why I feel this way. I think I know I think I know what's happening but I need you to clarify this for me and I need you to help me to respond to what's going on. Because if I do it in my flesh, I know I'm not reflecting you do. I have to stand by which means you got to learn how to show restraint when you want to give it a response. Sometimes the best thing you can do is do nothing and stand by for instructions on how to move. Because before giving an emotional response. The situation may call for you to give an intelligent response instead and you cannot give it an armed. With information information has to come from a different story.

This is why we cannot forsake the assembling of ourselves together because sometimes it's the one another to give you the response that you mean, this is the whole purpose of you having a set of parts to come unto God. Not just to worship him with your beautiful voice, or your wonderful ability to dance, or just show off how blessed you are with our final. You dress yourself know, you come to a place of worship to get instruction because sometimes you're coming in in a state of Crisis. Knowing god damn to the standby. Because there's some deficiency inside of them that they recognized because they see what you have. They realize it's something, they don't, they hate the boys, they fear, what? They don't know what to do about it. What is their own? in many instances is, Is there something you haven't done anything? But just beat freely you Yes. So, why are you coming at me this way? I'm doing just fine.

If I thought it was an offense, I would have said something if their leader if I didn't say anything is their leader, who are you to say something?

What's that? Misses the point. There's something deficient in them and he wants to Deficient in them with the whole set. If they're willing to take accountability for it, they can get on. Yes.

And we cannot be that if we get all up in our motion, when the attack comes just rejoice. When something comes the next that phone. This comes, that accusation comes that misrepresentation, I dare you to just start with. I want to do something bad but I must be doing something good. That I am who God says, I am that. I am who I believe I. And why do I have to prove? I have to be free. Or that I am. Why do I have to prove that? Baby, trying to prove you free, put you in bondage cuz now you living up to their expectations instead of staying in the state of freedom.

Or haven't you, haven't you read in the scriptures with David did, when he and his companions were hungry. He didn't say.

He said, haven't you read you Pharisee, you are supposed to be. Because you are not only dictators of law of service as a lot. You're the one that found people over the head and getting them to comply with the law in a way that benefits you So, here is having to read in the scriptures with David did. When he and his companions were hungry, he went into the house of God, broke the law by eating the sacred loaves of bread. What my mission is about isn't about following the ritualistic way of living and using it to can find more people. Step into the role of child of God, because God's glory has to be reflected right now. They're trying to get you off track. Trying to get you out of pocket. They're trying to Melania named there. Trying to misrepresent your character, don't let them When you see her Humanity, when you see her flesh, like that, that does not give you permission to get into yours.

Think of a confidence, the Courage, the conviction that Jesus must have had to be that bold to walk into their territory.

I'm kind of reminded of, you know, a story, one of my brothers,

Associated with a particular group of people, that's all I'm going to say hi. That particular group of people that he hates with have signs that they display and throw up as they claim the name of this group, that's to show how bad you are. The show who you affiliated with. And it's just a guessing, you don't mess with him because if you mess with him, that group is coming, right?

No, it's always been my experience that those that do that, do it the most when they're in their territory. They're not going to walk into somebody else's territory. That have members of a different group that also have sign.

Then I can walk up into that territory and the plane. His group in their territory. Because he know you and their territory was going to happen. Welcome.

There's nothing Courageous about that. There's nothing strong about that. There's nothing.

What you're displaying is cowardice.

But look at what Jesus stuff he goes over into their synagogue, where he knows it's another group. Hostile territory. But he is only armed with the word. He is armed with the power of God, he is being Authority. That just walked into Potential. Appositional conference. Right, he's expecting the what? Attack. He's expecting the what? He is expecting the what? So he is forearm with how he's going to do it.

He notices when he gets there, a man with the deformed hand. The Pharisees asked, Jesus does the law firm in a person to work by healing on the Sabbath. In parentheses, it said, they were hoping you would say yes. So they could bring charges against him, so he can be recognized even recognize what was going to happen and he was expecting the what? And look at what God's responsive. The answers, if you had a sheet that fell into a well in the seventh, when you work to pull it out, of course you would. And how much more valuable is a person than, is she the law permits a person to do? Good on the Sabbath? And is this that's not enough. This is where that last word. We talked a lot about recognize. I follow a law that I understand better.

And you know, the point that was missed on them with this. If God thought you are violating the law I created cause you to be holy to cause you to be consecrated unto me so that you can properly demonstrate me if God thought that when Jesus said, hold out your hand to be healed.

Not just good. It's very good. So, how do I bring them to truth? Even if they're coming at me, in attack or do I have somebody who I know? Always Think they didn't know why am I always getting it wrong? Is that somebody who's been under judgment? Critical.

But less than true judgment. And now they're beating up on himself. And they got to let that frustration out some kind of way. So are they letting it out on me for who I have a friend in me, I want to know. This is somebody who's always anxious about getting the right? So, how do I minister to? Beyond what they're doing to me. God would safe so we can give an adequate intelligent response. Do I have somebody who's always worried about what somebody else like

where did they don't measure up? I feel so guilt-ridden that they believe that God will never forgive them.

See, sometimes when we see the crazy that comes out in people. Be on that crazy really? What it's doing is Basking, a her Justin Time. And you'll see that will never forgive me from somebody who thinks they've done something. So horrible that there is no way back to God and what is it making if they think that there is no hope what does that make a person.

Hopeless. And we are hopeless. You can be easily frustrated.

Because if it's no hope, it God will never forgive me. Then why should I be done? Imma just go out and do everything. I can, cuz I know I'm going to end up anyway. And those are the ones that attacked the most the most dangerous. Those are the ones you definitely. Don't want to give an emotional response.

Do the ones you really want to think about. And deal with carefully.
