Good morning as my father said, that Elders asked me to fill that Pulpit this morning but be not afraid for this tribulation too shall pass.

I'm be out to it's it's my privilege this morning to share with you the words of Christ as we continue on, in our study of The Gospel, according to John and beginning in chapter 17 this morning. So please turn with me and we'll read, that's a little bit loud. Will read chapter 17 and then we'll return to study verses 1 through 5. The words of our Lord Jesus Christ. When Jesus had spoken these words he lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, father the hour has come glorify your son. That the Sun May glorify you since you have given him authority over All Flesh to give eternal life to all who have given him. And this is eternal life that they know you. The only true God and Jesus Christ. Can you have sent a glorified you on the earth? Having accomplished the work that you have gave? You gave me to do. And now father, glorify me in your own presents with the glory that I had with you before the world existed. I've manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world yours they were and you gave them to me and they've kept your word. Now, they know that everything that you have given me is from you. For I have given them the words that you gave me and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you. And they have believed that you sent me. I am praying for them. I'm not praying for the world, but For Those whom, you have given me for, they are yours. All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them and I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me that they may be one. Even as we are one while I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I've guarded them, and not one of them has been lost, except the son of Destruction that the scripture might be fulfilled. But now I am coming to you and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them your word and the world has hated them because they are not of the world just as I am not of the world. I do not ask that you take them out of the world but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world just as I am not of the world sanctify them in the truth. Your word is truth as you sent me into the world. So I have sent them into the world and for their sake, I consecrate myself that they also may be Sanctified in truth. I do not ask for these only but also for those who will believe in me through their word that they may all be one. Just as you father are in me. And I in you that they also may be in us that the world may believe that you have sent me the glory that you have given me. I have given to them that they may be one. Even as we are one i in them and you and me that they may become perfectly one. So the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. Father I desire that they also whom you have given me. Maybe with me where I am to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. Oh, right. Is father. Even though the world does not know you, I know you and these know that you have sent me, I made known to them your name and I will continue to make it known that the love with which you have loved me. Maybe and them and I and them this is the word of God that is praying. Most Holy Father and almighty God whose law is perfect in your mercy and kindness. You cause that all scripture be written for our learning. We pray that you would grant us that we hear and understand your word that we would study with all diligence and hold fast to the truth. Prescribed in your word with faith, please enlighten, our blind intellect by your Holy Spirit and free our minds from worldly Affairs. We ask that you would cause us to cherish and love your word and live by it with all earnestness that the body of Christ with well, in love and unity, for your praise and for your honor and For Your Glory, I asked also your mercy. You would allow me to speak with Clarity that you would forgive my imperfections and hold my thoughts captive, that my mind would not Wander from the teaching of your word that the body of Christ gathered together here would be blessed by Your Word. I ask these things in the name of our Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

But I said earlier, study this morning will be in verses 1 through 5 of John 17, which is the beginning of the high Priestly prayer and it has been characterized as the most holy passage in the gospels and I believe rightly. So I understand that this is a great claim because the gospel contains many weighty and glorious Truth for those who are in Christ and rare are the recorded prayers of Christ, except in this chapter, Here in the high Priestly prayer. John record Christ fulfilling his office as the only mediator between God and man.

This chapter is the greatest example that we have in scripture of Christ prayers. And it is the only lengthy prayer of Christ recorded that should be cherished by Believers. Because here, we've been given so much more than a glimpse into the mediatorial work of Christ. The work that he does for us daily. When John Knox, the great Scottish reformer, lay on his deathbed. He asked among other passages that this chapter be read to him, because he said it was there that he first cast his anchor. Hear the glory of Christ, the deity of Christ. The Tender Love Of Christ for his people and the sovereignty of God. The hope for the future are all put on display for put on display here in the high Priestly prayer. Miss prayer is also the Glorious Capstone of the previous three chapters, where Christ taught his disciples which Martin Luther, described or called the, the table talks of Christ in chapter 14, get instructed them. That they need, not fear, that he is the way, the truth and the life, and no one comes to the father. But through him, he says to them. If you love me, you will keep my Commandments. He taught them that Christ. And the father are one in chapter 15. He taught them that he is the True Vine. And the father is the vinedresser who nurtures the fine, he tells us that we cannot bear fruit apart from him. He says these words I have spoken that your joy may be full And in chapter 16, he warns the Disciples of the coming persecution, he teaches them of the coming of the helper, the Holy Spirit, the third person of the godhead that he will teach them all things. He says that in a little while, they will see him no longer but their sorrow will be turned to Great Joy because of the Triumph of the Gospel, the resurrection of the Christ. And finally, he ends this time of teaching at the table saying that God, the Father sent him into the world and now he is leaving the world and returning in glory to the father.

And he has taught them. All these things that in him, we may have peace because Christ has overcome the world and now Christ mingles his teaching with prayer Chrysler, Give an example, two teachers, and two fathers, that they should not only so the word, but that by mixing their prayers, with the teaching, they should implore, God, to help that he would bless their work and make it fruitful laboring faithfully, and praying for the blessing of God upon his work, trusting the father to fulfill his promises that the word would not return. Empty as John Calvin wrote Doctrine has no power. If efficacy be not imparted to it from above, Right, teaching has no effect. Unless the effect is granted to it by God. And so we are taught by Christ to labor faithfully and to pray diligently and India's first by versus the prayers of Christ are directed towards himself. The first begins, he lifted up his eyes to heaven. The posture of Christ is telling your John record for us, that Christ lifted up his eyes to Heaven, his eyes are directed There by his inward. Feeling Christ Looks To Heaven because they're the Majesty of God is chiefly portrayed, the heavens declare, the glory of God, and he looks to have him because his mind was there rather than here. And his head is raised on ashamed because he is the Spotless Lamb of God.

Is that is raised.

Because he is on ashamed. We as lowly man. Have much to be ashamed of in. So we are taught by Christ. When, when he taught the apostles to pray, he gave them the example of the Pharisee and the Publican or the tax collector, for the Pharisee, proud of his own righteousness, raised his his head and prayed in the Publican bowed his head and said her have merciful God, be merciful to me a sinner, but Christ had no sin and so he raised his eyes to heaven. Any because it begins his Prayer by saying father there are 21 prayers of Christ found in scripture and in all but the prayer that he prayed in Matthew 27, when he prayed on the cross. My God, my God, why have you forsaken me, in every other recorded, prayer, Christ, addresses, God, as father. In the first word of the high Priestly prayer. We're confronted with the reality of our human finite Minds. The true depth of the relationship between God, the father and God, the son are incomprehensible to Mere created beings. This is no distant or formal address. It is the language of Eternal and unbreakable communion from all eternity. The father has loved the Son and the son has love the father with a love. That is perfect. It is infinite and it is uncreated It is important that we hold these truths in the Forefront of our minds as we studied, these first five versus first, we must understand that the distance between God and creature is so cavernous, be large that we cannot know anything about God unless God reveals it to us. As the Christ in his absolute perfection, always prays absolutely perfectly and his will is always perfectly aligned with the will of the father. We are indeed fortunate to have such a high priest because Fallen man has no ability to pray perfectly or do anything perfectly. As John Bunyan said there is enough, send in my best prayer to send the whole world to hell.

So we must know that there is absolute perfection in this prayer and total Unity with the Father, John Calvin writes that the Affairs of Christ are so closely United to those of the father that the father's assistance will never be withheld from himself and his sheep. So we can have confidence then that when Christ praise to the Father, the father and his perfect love for the Sun. Here's and will grant his every prayer. And so Christ begins his prayers saying father the hour has come God addressing God one person of the Trinity speaks to another person of the Trinity. It is a profound mystery. The words may be simple but the trews are beyond our Earthly comprehension. And what is this hour? What is the hour that Christ speaks of it, is very Crux of History eternity past and Eternity future meet at the cross Christ became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of Christ. The long-awaited Hour That the Saints and the prophets of old look forward to And put their faith in the hour that we look back to as a perfect for filming. And the price for our sins. It is the hour that our Salvation was actualized. That is the hour or the Christ that has come. It is the hour upon which the whole hope of humanity rest. And now Christ says, glorify your son that the Sun May glorify you in this hour in the Crux of history that Christ speaks of praise for Jesus prays for his own glorification so that he in turn can glorify the father Christ knows the terror and the torment that is before him. But he knows that it is for his ultimate Glory. As he said before, in John 8:54, if I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is for my, it is my father who glorifies me? How come you say he is our God in his sacrificial death and Resurrection, the father would glorify him and he would receive all glory Forever and Ever by Ciara. He's asking the father that in this hour in his torment and in his crucifixion, he would be glorified, how could such a horror the Glorious, how could the King of Kings being nailed to a tree? Be the glorification that he is praying for But the cross is a moment of great glory for the father and the son. It is the Supreme display of the sun's Glory. The glory, a perfect, obedience willing, self-sacrifice and Victorious. Love on the cross. Jesus is lifted up, not only in shame, but in exaltation, Christ has set before in John 3, 14. And as Moses lifted up, the serpent in the wilderness so must the son of man be lifted up on the cross. The savior's, lift it up as a serpent was in the wilderness. But for those with eyes to see, he is also exalted as the Lord of Glory. Because by the action of submitting to the father, even to death on a tree, he has secured for us a great salvation as written and John 12:30 to making it to Ted. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth will draw all people to myself Christ in his death is revealed as the one who will endure even an ignoble form of death for the sake of his people so much. Does he love us? And the father in turn is glorified because in the cross he reveals to us that he was willing up willing to give his only begotten son. Out of his great love for us and this is the Divine mystery and the wonderful revelation of the perfect attributes of the godhead. His perfect love is displayed in his sacrifice, in the cross, we see the magnification of the Justice of the father. And the son at together, they work to satisfy God's righteous judgment against sin, so that we can be forgiven. God's perfect Justice is Satisfied by the perfect blood of the Lamb. These great things are what the Apostle Paul love to speak up and you wrote of them by the holy spirit in Romans 8. Verses 6 through 11, for while we were still weak at the right time Christ, died for the ungodly, for one will scarcely die for a righteous person, know perhaps for a good person. One would dare even to die, but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us since therefore, we have now been justified by his blood. So much more, shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God for us while we were enemies? We were reconciled to God by the death of his son much more. Now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved through his life? More than that. We also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ through whom we have now received reconciliation. And infusion Paul wrote blessed, be the God, and father of our Lord. Jesus Christ who has blessed us in Christ, with every spiritual blessing. In the Heavenly places even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world that we should be holy and blameless before him in love, he predestined us for adoption to himself as Sons through Jesus Christ. According to the purpose of his will to the praise of his glorious Grace with, which he has blessed us in the Beloved. In him, we have Redemption through his blood, the Forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished Upon Us in all wisdom and insight making known to us, the mystery of his will according to his purposes, which he set forth in Christ, as a plan, for the fullness of time to unite all things, to Christ, things in heaven and things on earth, in him in him. We have obtained, an inheritance having been predestined. According to the purpose of him who works, all things, according to the purpose, to the counsel of his will. So that we who were first to Hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory in him. You also, when you heard the word of Truth, The Gospel of your salvation and believed in him, we're sealed with the promise of the Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it to the praise of his glory. The perfect life of the son in his Incarnation gives glory to the father and the father gives the son, the glory that he is due.

And so inverse one, we have seen the foundation of this prayer that the the preparation of Christ for his death and his resurrection, the Eternal son speaks to his eternal, father, declaring that, the hour has come, and ask that the godhead be glorified, The Shame of the Cross would become. The Eternal. Magnification of the sun is it's not the purpose of all things that all glory would be given to God, Verse two, since you have given him authority over All Flesh to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. Price to staying glorify the sun. Since you have given him authority over all flash Christ here, ask for nothing but what is perfectly aligned with the will of the father. It must be a constant rule of prayer that we subject our Wills to that of the father and Christ in his Earthly. Humiliation was the Supreme example for us for when he prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, he said not my will but yours. And so we also ought to pray.

And in this prayer, the thoughts of Christ are aligned perfectly with those of the father for. He says, since you have given him authority over All Flesh, he's declaring God's Eternal decree in the hearing of his disciples that Christ should be the head of all prices, not asking the father to do something new about to fulfill, what was determined in the Eternal Council of the God had before the world began there. For Christ is do all glory. He must be glorified because he is the one who has authority over All Flesh. He said to his disciples in Matthew, 28:18, all authority in heaven and on Earth has been given to me. You must be glorified because he's the one who gives life, he must be glorified because he's the one who gave his own life. As a ransom for many. He is glorified the father in fulfilling, the office is appointed to him from before all time. And now, the father will glorify the sun with the glory due him. There are two main points in this verse that we ought to pay, very close attention to. The first is that Christ has been given authority over All Flesh. He is the king of all Kings, and the Lord of all Lords, In The Gospel, according to Matthew at the Great Commission Christ dead. As I read earlier all authority in heaven and on Earth has been given to me. This is a true that the modern church seems to have failed to grasp Christ has risen and he has ascended. He's the Lord of Heaven and of Earth. He is the ruler of all things. Satan is not.

Christ is all authority. Has been given to him his Rule and Reign is not only future, but it is also present. Christ is the king over this world, Satan is not, this is vital for us to acknowledge because at the end of his authority or the purpose. Other, according to Christ in this prayer is to give eternal life to all his people. As John Calvin wrote in his commentary on. John 17, Christ receives Authority, not so much for himself, as for the sake of our salvation. And therefore, we ought submit ourselves to Christ. Not only that, we may obey God, but because nothing is more lovely than that subjection since it brings to us eternal life. Your father gave Christ authority over All Flesh. Not only that the sun couldn't be exalted in isolation, but for the sake of the elect, Those whom the father has given son. The second point that I would like to draw your attention to is that by that have 40, he will give life to all whom the father has given him that he has been granted authority to bestow life to any and all without distinction. But rather that this gift of has been given to a distinct group of people. Those whom the father has given him. This is the biblical doctrine of election. Before the world began the father gave a specific group of people to the sun. These are the ones that Christ came to save. These are the ones for whom he praised, and these are the ones to whom he gives eternal life. Please turn back to John chapter 6 verses 37 through 44. John 6 37, through 44.

The words of our Lord, Jesus Christ, all that the father gives me will come to me and whoever comes to me, I will never cast out, but I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me and this is the will of him who sent me that I should lose. Nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of my father that everyone who looks on the son and believes in him shall have eternal life and I will raise him up on the last day. So the Jews grumbled about him because he said, I am the bread of Heaven that bread that came down from heaven. They said, is this not Jesus? The son of Joseph, Joseph, whose father and mother we know. How does he now say I have come down from heaven? Jesus answered them, do not Grumble among yourselves. No one can come to me. Unless the father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up on the last day. The father has given Christ a people to whom he bestows the gift of life, but the reprobate is also subject to Christ's rule for it is written. You have given him authority over All Flesh, the kingdom of Christ extends to all men, bringing judgment to the reprobate and eternal life to Those. Whom the father has given the Sun as our lord. Jesus said in John 5, truly, truly, I say to you an hour is coming. And is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live for as a father, has life in himself. So he is granted The Sun Also to have life in himself and he has given him authority to execute judgment because he is the son of man do not Marvel at this for an hour is coming, when all who are in the tombs, will hear his voice and come out. Those who have done good to the resurrection of life. And those who have done evil in the resurrection of judgment, it Bears repeating that the kingdom of Christ extends to all men, but it brings judgment to the reprobate, and salvation, only to those whom the father has given the Sun. And what is this eternal life price says, in verse 3. And this is eternal life that they know you. The only true God and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent in this. First part of the verse, we are given a definition of eternal life, eternal life is knowing the Father and Jesus Christ. The song Christ is not here. Speaking of the future enjoyment of eternal life that we hope for, but he is describing the manner in which eternal life is bestowed. This life is a gift. It is not something that can be learned by men apart from this life, giving knowledge, all men are spiritually dead. And how can dead man be made alive? They can't make themselves a live, eternal life is not earned. It is sovereignly given. As we read earlier and John 6:44, So this process of knowing starts with God, choosing and effectually drawing men to himself. God the father has chosen a people for Christ to redeem and through Christ we can know the father. What then is this knowing it isn't. Merely an intellectual knowledge of God's existence for even the demons believe and shudder not every kind of knowledge saves Paul teaches us in Romans that all men know that there is a God the knowledge that Christ. And speaking of his deeper than just an intellectual knowledge is that it's a knowledge that transforms us. This is the kind of knowledge that the Bible often uses to describe the marriage relationship. Or it's at 8, a deep personal and coming until knowing to know, God, In This Way means to love him. To trust him, to commune with him to Delight in him to be United to him, through this knowledge. We are united to Christ adopted as sons of God and made errors together with Christ. This is eternal life. The second part of the verse reads, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent There is no way to know the father apart from the sun. No one comes to the father, but through the sun simile, similarly, anyone future separates the person of the Sun. From the person of the father, does not know the only true God to reject the sun is to reject the father to deny, the sun is to remain in spiritual Darkness Christ here, affirms his deity, he affirms the unity of the one true God head and he affirms the absolute necessity of coming to the father through the son alone, John Calvin, captured this idea masterfully in his commentary on the Gospel of John where he wrote Christ appearing in the form of a man described under the person of the Father, the power Essence and Majesty of God. So then the father of Christ is the only true God that is. He is the one God who Formerly promise to Redeemer to the world but in Christ, the one that's in truth of the godhead will be found because Christ was humbled in order that he might be written. Excuse me, that he might raise us on high. When we have arrived at this point, then his Divine Majesty displays itself. Then we perceive that he is wholly in the father and the father is Holy, get him in short, he who separates Christ from the Divinity of. The father does not yet acknowledged him. Who is the only true God? But rather in vents for himself a strange God, this is the reason why are we are we are enjoined to know God and Jesus whom he has sent by whom as it were with outstretched and he invites us to himself. What Calvin is saying here? That there is no true, knowledge of God, apart from Christ, those who claim to worship God and reject. The deity of Christ will not be saved. They have invented a false god in their own image, their idolatry will, and only in damnation. Eternal life is found only in this Inseparable knowledge of the father through the sun, 1st, John 2:22 through 24 clearly states. This says, who is the liar? But he, who denies that Jesus is the Christ. This is the Antichrist. He, who denies the father, and the son, no one, who denies the Father? The Son has the father, whoever confesses the son has the father. Also, that what you heard from the beginning abide in you? If what you heard from the beginning abide in you than you two will abide in the Son and the father there for this is eternal life that we know the only true God and Jesus Christ his son.

Not a knowledge that is nearly intellectual for even the demons believe and shutter. But our knowing God must be a love for him as he has revealed himself in Scripture, A knowing of the father, through the Son, and the son from the father for there is, but one God, and there is one mediator between God and man. He is the Son of God, the man Christ Jesus. He who denies our son, has not the father, he who confesses the son knows. The father also to know the father is to know the sun had to know. The sun is to know the father. Let's continue to Bruce for Christ. Says I glorified you on Earth having accomplished the work that you gave me to do? Christ was sent into the world to be the new and Perfect. Adam, the one who would fulfill the law, the one who would bear our sins, who proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God and who established his church. That the gospel would go out into the world and not only go out but also fill the whole earth Christ came down to earth, the king of glory humbled himself and took a human form and became a servant in perfect obedience to the father, according to his eternal purposes and all for his glory. And Christ said that, the our income when is Earthly worked would be complete. He's made God known to the world, through his Doctrine and by his teaching, and also by his miracles. And so when Christ says, I have finished the work which you gave me to do, he means that he has completed the whole course of his Earthly mission. He does not speak only of his teaching, but of every part of his ministry for through his death and Resurrection do his death, and Resurrection have not occurred at that time. But they were a hand. He speaks as though, he has already endured it. He anticipates the moment when he would cry, it is finished. And bring Salvation to the world as Paul wrote. He humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him. The name that is above every name. Having completed this work, the full-time had now come for him to be received back into the Heavenly Glory where he reigns from on high as the perfect mediator between God and man Our forefathers, in the faith, I have written in the 1689. London, Baptist confession in chapter 8 of Christ. The mediator where they said it, please God in his eternal purpose to choose an ordained. The Lord Jesus, his only begotten son, according to the covenant made between them both to be the mediator between God and man, the prophet priest and King head and savior of the church. The air of all things and judge of the world unto whom he did from all eternity, give a people to be his seed and to be by him in time, redeemed called Justified. And I think if I'd a glorified. From all eternity. And for the glory of God, the Lord Christ, the only begotten, Son, of God. The second person of the Holy Trinity was appointed to this office of mediator, and she is perfectly fulfilled. This office yet, perfectly filled the office, a prophet priest, and King the office of profit having revealed to us by his word. And by his Spirit, the will and law of God for our Salvation Christ said, this of himself and Luke 4918 through, nineteen. When he read from the prophet, Isaiah the words of God, the spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to Proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to Proclaim Liberty to the captives in recovering of sight to the Blind and set at Liberty, those who are oppressed to proclaim the year of the Lord's. Favor Christ, perfectly fulfilled, the office a priest having offered up himself as the perfect and why For all sacrifice. Satisfying, Divine, Justice and reconciling us, to God, and interceding, on our behalf, continuing Hebrews 10:10 through 14, says, and buy that. Will we have been Sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ, once for all and every priest and daily. At his service, offering repeatedly that the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But when Christ had offered for all-time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet for by a single offering. He has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified And finally, He Reigns as king forever. Subduing, his people to himself defending his church and restraining his enemies. The forces of evil and the children of Darkness whom he will conquer. So I'm on 10 says the Lord says to my Lord at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool. The Lord sends forth from Zion, his mighty scepter rule, in the midst of your enemies, your people will offer themselves freely on the day of your power and holy garments from the womb of the morning. The duo of your youth will be yours. The Lord has sworn, it will not change his mind. You are a priest Forever After the order of Melchizedek The Lord is at your right hand, he will shatter Kings on the day of his wrath. He will execute judgment among the nation. Filling them with corpses. He will chatter Chiefs and over the wide, over the wide or he will drink from the brook by the way, there for if you will lift up his head Christ has accomplished. This great work, the work that he was given to do by the father. He is perfectly fulfilled. The offices of profit and a priest and King Let's finally read verse 5. Christ, praise. And now father, glorify me in your own presents with the glory that I had with you before the world existed. Christ has declared himself to be God in the presence of his disciples this prayer as you should have noticed by now is deeply trinitarian Christ here, ask for nothing, more than that, which belongs to him. And has always from all eternity belongs to him, he desires to be glorified with the father not separately from him. And further, he does not desire, a secret Glory, but that being received to heaven, the father would lift him up and that the Majesty of Christ would be displayed for all to see Christ desires that all see him and tremble. He desires that every knee shall bow before him. He desires to be glorified with the father in his presence, as the Victorious, training King, who is and who was, and who is who is to come? I'm having accomplished his work on Earth, the Son of God, the second person of the godhead would be resurrected and glorified, his body would not see corruption, but having accomplished the work, but the father gave him to do after securing the salvation of his people. Whom the father gave him, he would return to the Heavenly throne in great Glory. John Calvin said Christ is not a God who has been newly contrived. He was not just a great prophet as Islam teaches, he's not a created being, a temporal offspring of God is claimed by the Mormons or the Jehovah's Witnesses or the area and Heretics Christ is God the son eternally begotten of the Father, God of God, light of Lights. If you do not affirm these Foods, there is no salvation for you. Please turn to John chapter 1.

John one will begin with first one. In the beginning was the word and the Word was with God. And the Word was God, he was in the beginning with God, and all things were made through him. And without him was not anything made that was made in him was life. And the life was the light of men, the light shines in the darkness and the Darkness has not overcome it. Let's Jump Ahead 2 verse 9 The True Light, which gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world in the world was made through him. Yet the world did not know him. He came to his own in his own people did not receive him, but to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God for born. Not a blood, nor of the, will of Flesh, nor of the will of, man. But of God, and the word became flesh and dwelt among us. And we have seen his glory glory. As of the only son from the father, full of grace and truth, John bore witness about him and cried out. This was he of whom I said, he who comes after me ranks before me because he was before me. For from his fullness, we have received Grace upon Grace, for the law was given through Moses Grace and Truth came through. Jesus Christ. No one has seen God. The only son without the father's side. He has made him known the word. That John speaks of the logos is the deity of God. The son John says that in the beginning, the word already was he was with God and he was God, in him was life. And that life was the light of men. The true light came into the world and do the world was made through him. It did not know him but as many as received him to them, he gave the right to become children of God. And we have seen his glory, glory of the only begotten son from the father. The first 5 verses in the Holy spaces in the gospels, stopped the mouths of Heretics, for Christ claims for himself Lori because he is God, the son, he is no mere man. No created, being no secondary God, but God himself. He deserves all glory and honor forever and ever. Therefore, we worship him as he has revealed himself in scripture, in the words of the Nicene Creed. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ. The only begotten, Son of God. Begotten of the father before all World. God of God, light of Lights. Very. Very God. Begotten not made being of one substance with the father by whom all things were made before us, man. And for our Salvation came down from heaven and wasn't Carnot. By the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary and was made man and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate, he suffered and was buried and on the third day, he rose again. According to the scriptures and ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the father and he shall come again with glory to judge both the living and the dead, whose kingdom shall have no end. The deity of Christ, as the Son of God is made. So manifestly clear to us in Scripture. That is totally understandable to me that the First Council of nicaea. When areas the heretic are you, the Christ was a created being the response of Saint. Nicholas was to get up across the room and slap him in the face.

The word of God has been given to us the eternally begotten, Son of God came down from heaven. He lived a perfect life and died. A sinner's death in obedience to the father for our sake. And he rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures in these first five verses of chapter 17, the Son of God faces the cross. And pray for his glory together with the Father, the glory that he had before the world existed. He had perfectly glorify the father on Earth by finishing the work that was given him. He has been given authority over All Flesh, so that he might give eternal life to all whom the father has given him. And this eternal life is that we know the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom he has sent, he is the prophet who reveals God, the priest who offered himself as a once for all perfect sacrifice and the king who reigns forever in him. The fullness of the godhead, dwells in him, we are united to the father in him alone is eternal life. Psalm 97, the Lord Reigns let the Earth Rejoice. Let them any Coast plans. Be glad clouds and thick Darkness are all around him righteousness and Justice are the foundation of his throne. Fire goes before him and he burns up his adversaries. All around his Lightnings light up the world, the Earth's seas and trembles the mountains melt like Wax before the Lord, before the Lord of all the Earth, the heavens Proclaim, his righteousness, and all the people see his glory. All worshippers of images are put to shame who make their boast in worthless Idols worship him. All you Gods o. You who love the Lord hate evil. He preserves the lies of his Saints and he delivers them from the hand of the wicked light is still on for the righteous and joy for the upright in heart rejoice in the Lord. Are you righteous and give thanks to His holy name. Let's pray. Lord God, we thank and praise you for your great Mercy. Towards us that you have revealed to us in your word. The glory of the only begotten son, the only mediator between God and man through whom we have obtained, a great and costly inheritance. And through whom we are adopted as Sons, please Grant to us that your word with well richly in our hearts that we would worship you in spirit and in truth bringing glory and honor to your name. I pray these things in the Name of Christ on them.
