Adoration
Adoration
Heavenly Father, Sovereign Lord, we come before You recognizing that You are our anchor. You remain unchanged in seasons of storms and strife. You are great and greatly to be praised. Your plans for your kingdom are never thwarted.
Confession
Confession
Lord, we confess that we fall short of your righteousness. We confess the times we allow a sharp disagreement to fester and become division. We confess our tendency to be prideful, to turn to gossip, and to fear the future. We confess our sins and know you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving
We thank you Father for the safe return of the youth from Camp. Father we rejoice with the angels in heaven over Elias. Thank you for the grace You have given him, for opening his eyes to the truth, and giving him the faith to trust in Jesus for his salvation. We thank You Lord for the years of fellowship we’ve had with brothers and sisters that will be at other churches starting next week.
Supplication
Supplication
Lord in this room we have those who need encouragement and those who need comfort. Give boldness and joy to us all that we would proclaim your name as we spread the gospel message. Show us how big Your kingdom is. Remind us this morning that Your math is different than ours and that what we might see as division you use for divine multiplication. Lord we pray also for those that carry the heavy burdens of illness or injury. I lift up those with financial stress and family relationships in trouble. In all things we ask you heal your people Father. Give us ears to hear and prepare our hearts to receive Your Word. Let us worship through your word as we read together and praise you as we sing with one another.
