welcome
Imagine the scene...Jairus...a synagogue ruler...has just fallen at Jesus' feet. His twelve-year-old daughter is dying. Jesus agrees to go.
Now The crowd erupts…Thousands begin following Him.
This is urgent…Every second matters.
And then...Jesus stops.
Not because of Jairus. Not because of the crowd. Because someone touched Him.
Can you imagine Jairus? “What are You doing?! My daughter is dying!" Yet Jesus teaches something profound...
God is never so busy saving one person that He overlooks another.
God is never so busy saving one person that He overlooks another.
He has enough grace for the desperate father..and enough grace for the forgotten woman…
preach
Now when Jesus returned, the crowd welcomed him, for they were all waiting for him. And there came a man named Jairus, who was a ruler of the synagogue. And falling at Jesus’ feet, he implored him to come to his house, for he had an only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she was dying.
As Jesus went, the people pressed around him. And there was a woman who had had a discharge of blood for twelve years, and though she had spent all her living on physicians, she could not be healed by anyone. She came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment, and immediately her discharge of blood ceased. And Jesus said, “Who was it that touched me?” When all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the crowds surround you and are pressing in on you!” But Jesus said, “Someone touched me, for I perceive that power has gone out from me.” And when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling, and falling down before him declared in the presence of all the people why she had touched him, and how she had been immediately healed. And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.”
point 1
POINT ONE: Sometimes God Allows Us to Reach the End of Ourselves So We Finally Reach for Him
POINT ONE: Sometimes God Allows Us to Reach the End of Ourselves So We Finally Reach for Him
For twelve years...She had exhausted every option.
Doctors.
Money.
Hope.
Relationships.
Religion.
Everything…Mark tells us she spent everything she had...yet became worse…
Why are we preaching this message today??
because how many of us our living like this today??
we try everything…we do everything in our power and might…we are doing everything…except complete surrender…
Some are bleeding emotionally.
Some spiritually.
Some mentally.
Some secretly.
Some financially.
Some are sitting in church...smiling...while quietly hemorrhaging hope.
Here's the profound truth...
Sometimes God removes the crutches...because He's teaching us to lean on him
Sometimes God removes the crutches...because He's teaching us to lean on him
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Your greatest breakthrough often begins where your greatest self-sufficiency finally ends.

POINT TWO: Faith Must Reach Before It Receives
POINT TWO: Faith Must Reach Before It Receives
talk on faith…
1st desperation…now faith moves in…
Everyone else touched Jesus…Only one touched Him by faith.
Everyone else touched Jesus…Only one touched Him by faith.
There's a difference between proximity...and faith.
You can attend church every week...and never actually reach Jesus.
You can know Bible stories...without trusting the Savior.
You can sing worship songs...without surrendering your heart.
Faith isn't believing Jesus exists…Even demons know that.
Faith is placing the full weight of your life upon Him. = Trust and obedience
Notice...She doesn't ask permission…She doesn't demand attention.
She simply believes..."If I can touch Him..."’’
And immediately...everything changed.
Not because the garment had power…Because Jesus did.
Here's something powerful.
Jesus knew who touched Him…He wasn't asking for information…He was inviting confession.
He wanted her faith to become public.
Why? Sometimes your testimony becomes someone else's miracle…
Faith is not measured by how loudly you pray but by how completely you trust.
Faith is not measured by how loudly you pray but by how completely you trust.
Point 3
POINT THREE: Jesus Didn't Just Heal Her...
POINT THREE: Jesus Didn't Just Heal Her...
He Restored Her
Listen Everyone focuses on the bleeding stopping.
But Jesus focuses on the woman…He calls her..."Daughter."
Imagine hearing that...
after twelve years of hearing..."Unclean."
One word from Jesus...rewrote twelve years of identity.
That's what grace does.
The world names you by your failures…Jesus names you by your relationship.
The world says...
Addict.
Failure.
Divorced.
Broken.
Anxious.
Depressed.
Dirty.
Jesus says…"M“ son."…”My daughter."
Church...Jesus wasn't after her disease…He was after her heart.
Healing got her attention…Relationship became His goal…
and watch this this is beautiful...
Notice Jesus asks her
And when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling, and falling down before him declared in the presence of all the people why she had touched him, and how she had been immediately healed.
preach it
Jesus cares more about who you're becoming than simply what you're escaping.
Jesus cares more about who you're becoming than simply what you're escaping.
We Often Want Relief
We Often Want Relief
Jesus wants Redemption.
We want...
"Lord, take away the storm."
Jesus says...
"I want to make you into someone who trusts Me in every season."
We want...
"Remove the trial."
Jesus says...
"I want to make you look more like Christ.”
Because every one of us has a disease.
Not one of blood...but one of sin.
We all tried fixing ourselves.
Religion.
Morality.
Good works.
Success.
None of it stopped the bleeding.
Until Jesus...went to another crowd...walked another road...and stretched out His hands on a cross.
There...our sin was placed upon Him.
His blood was shed...so ours could be made clean.
Listen
Maybe you've been bleeding for years.
Maybe nobody else knows.
Maybe you've learned how to smile while silently suffering.
Maybe you've spent years trying everything except surrender.
Today...
Jesus is still walking through the crowd.
He is still stopping for the desperate.
He is still calling people "son."
He is still calling people "daughter."
He is still making people whole.
The question isn't..."Can Jesus heal?"
The question is...Will you reach for Him?
So how??
what does this mean on monday??
1. Stop hiding your wounds.
1. Stop hiding your wounds.
The woman hid for twelve years.
Healing began when she came into the light.
The enemy whispers...
"Hide."
Jesus says...
"Come."
You cannot heal what you're constantly hiding.
2. Stop putting your ultimate hope in temporary solutions.
2. Stop putting your ultimate hope in temporary solutions.
Doctors weren't sinful.
But they couldn't save her.
Neither can...
Money.
Success.
Politics.
Entertainment.
Relationships.
Only Jesus can carry the weight of being your Savior.
Everything else eventually collapses.
3. Reach for Jesus every single day.
3. Reach for Jesus every single day.
Not just when life falls apart.
Daily.
Prayer.
His Word.
Repentance.
Worship.
Dependence.
Faith isn't a one-time touch.
It's a lifestyle of reaching.
Pray
HOLY SPIRIT PREACH PLEASE!!!!
